I was trying to decipher what's in his (NK) hand from the surveillance image leaving the Meijer. It looks like a small round container, similar to a Ben & Jerry's ice cream container. It also looks like he's carrying some type of bag, I can sort of make out the strap over his right arm. I was hoping the item/s might give some clue to where or what he was planning to do. Dad indicated they had determined NK had gotten a Lyft to the store once he left the apartment in Waterford.

Has it ever been reported if LE was able to see him in the parking lot after that purchase?

This is sad news. My heart goes out to his family and those that loved him. Too young, much too young.
Fly high, Noah.

Too sad. And from some comments it sounds like his Dad's grandmother's funeral was yesterday, so their poor family is experiencing a double loss. Prayers and peace to them to make it through this.

I know it doesn't matter now, but I thought I'd add this to the thread - I tried to decipher it too, without great results, but it looks like a black cat on the bottom and a dog on the other (you have to squint). So maybe dog and cat food?

Given the date I would presume drug overdose. Perhaps semi-intentional considering the string of bad luck and recent blocking of family and friends on social media. Probably met up with his source/user group who were with him when he died either at the location his body was found or whom transported it there and one of them finally sent in a tip about where to find it, the article said that the police had been "acting on new information"
