Do they have her arms or legs? Just the head and part of her torso? Has he said where the rest of her body is? Has LE searched the creek or anywhere for her remains?

I haven't seen that they have her head, or her arms, hands, or feet.

The only thing I've found so far that will prevent an autopsy is if several specific deadly communicable diseases are suspected, but I don't think that's the case here. They specifically said because of certain remains being missing.

I've been going through pathology references trying to find something, and will keep looking as I have time.

Police say Bommer told them he and 32-year-old Pam Prpich were using fentanyl to get high when he found her dead from an overdose.

Police began investigating her death after her brother found parts of her body in a suitcase in a creek near her home on August 18. They say Bommer told them he disposed of her limbs in a dumpster. Police say they found other remains in his closet.

He is charged with obstruction of justice because police say they repeatedly asked him if he had seen Prpich while investigating a missing persons report filed by her family. He allegedly lied and said he had only talked to her on the phone.

Judge William Szlinis ruled that Bommer will be held in jail without bond until his next court appearance on September 6th at 9 a.m. in 33rd District Court in Brownstown Township.

“Good luck to you Mr. Bommer. You are going to need it,” said Szlinis as the arraignment ended.

A competency examination date has not yet been set for James Bommer for the dismemberment and mutilation of 32-year-old Pamela Prpich’s body, according to Gibraltar police.
