Very good news! It sounds as though they’re really applying the pressure to get these two women’s disappearances solved.

In May 2013, a witness told investigators he worked as an attendant at a gas station at the corner of US-23 and River Road at the time of the girls' disappearance. The witness further stated that he had given this information to police years ago. According to police, there is other information not released to the public that indicates the girls were seen downtown the day of their disappearance. This double disappearance (and likely abduction) in Michigan followed closely a series of murders of young women and girls in the Ypsilanti /Ann Arbor area.

John Norman Collins had been arrested as the main suspect in those murders, and held in jail since late July 1969. He was eventually tried and convicted of only one of those murders.

A big question has always been, was he alone responsible, or were there other killers involved - either working with him or separately?

All of the "Co-Ed Murders" involved victims whose bodies were dumped in remote, rural areas. Whereas the bodies of Pamela and Patricia have never been found, and they are considered "missing".

from speaking with the sister of Pam Hobley, it sounds like they have a good suspect in this double disappearance.

Another Michigan cold case of a missing girl is that of Cynthia Coon, age 13, who disappeared from Ann Arbor on 19 January 1970 - less than three months after Pamela and Patricia went missing.

Art Ream is suspected in her case. JMO YMMV

It appears he had a carpet job in that area at the time she vanished.
