Royal Oak — Holiday lights are taking on a whole new meaning at Corewell Health's William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak this month.
The hospital's popular Moonbeams for Sweet Dreams returned this week. For 10 minutes at 8 p.m. every night from now until Dec. 23, well-wishers beam flashlights up at the hospital's pediatric floor to help patients and their families feel less alone during the holidays. Patients and loved ones are encouraged to shine their own flashlights back at the crowds...
The program is now in its eighth official year...
