Multiple bags containing body parts have been found on Allington Road near I-94 in St. Clair, according to police. Police say at least five bags have been found.

Sheriff: 4th Bag Of Possible Human Remains Found Along I-94

A fourth bag of what is believed to be human remains was found early Friday morning. The discovery was made about 12 hours after three other bags of remains were found dumped along a rural road in China Township.

“Sometime after 4 a.m… a commuter saw a bag on the entrance ramp of I-94 from Fred Moore Highway and contacted us, and that’s where we picked up the last bag with evidence it in and we’re still sorting it all out,” Donnellon said.

The link says Port Huron Mobil which is the one on 32nd Street (I think). Initially I thought it was the Mobil on Waldham which would be awfully close to the dump site. Strange case.
I sure hope this case gets resolved quickly.

Suspect in body parts case is victim's mother

The mother has been in custody since yesterday.

Police say the woman was taken into custody on January 31. That same day investigators executed two search warrants - one in the 22000 block of Rosedale and the other in the 23000 block of Gary Lane in St. Clair Shores.

Donna Chaffin Scrivo, 59, was held in Macomb County Jail over the weekend and is expected to be arraigned Monday on open murder charges in 40th District Court.

Authorities allege she killed her son Ramsay Scrivo of St. Clair Shores, dismembered his body, and stuffed the remains in several garbage bags that were discovered in St. Clair County late last week.

Court records and public documents show a couple of significant events that have taken place in the last year.

Daniel Scrivo, the husband of the suspect and father of the victim, died in May 2013 in the Rosedale home at the age of 61. A few months later, a fire took place in the Scrivo household.

Donna Scrivo resided in a hotel before moving in with her son while restoration work was underway, according to neighbors.

That same month, Donna Scrivo was in Macomb Probate Court asking to be named as guardian to Ramsay. Online records do not state why she sought the guardianship. She was made a temporary guardian but the matter was later discharged, according to court records. In September, she petitioned the court to have her son hospitalized for an undisclosed mental illness. That case was deferred.

I wouldn't think there would be too many with her name, it's not very common. Maybe she had quit nursing to become a social worker? It's possible she went back to school. I know in some of my classes there are nurses who are in their 50's that are studying to become social workers or psych's.

Was she an RN or BSN?

Her LinkedIn profile lists her as "director of clinical services at resources for transition"--whatever those are. That sounds like someone with a nursing and social work background, but I don't see what her degree is.

I don't know what this first case means, but it seems like she was suing a hospital (presumably her employer) for unemployment back in 2005.

Suspect has been moved to macomb county jail so they can watch her 24/7.
She reported her son missing - said he vanished into thin air. They believe she killed him. She tried to clean the crime scene. Cleaned the inside of home (so I assume that's the crime scene). Problems between mother and son have brought the police out in the past.
She has court at 2pm.

Last May 10, on the day he turned 32, Ramsay Scrivo’s mother dedicated a Rascal Flatts song on her public Facebook page to her youngest son that said she hoped all his dreams came true.

My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to. ... And while you're out there getting where you're getting to, I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too.

It doesn't show much other than his addresses over the years. It may show or may not show how long he lived with his parents and when he moved to his own home.
