Five years later, police still seek leads on death of 7-year-old Raven Jeffries

Bumping, the murder of Raven Jeffries remains unsolved a decade later.

The last update I could find was from a couple of years ago.

Information coming in on the case has slowed over the years, but in a change of pace, Monte is putting information out to the public — and it’s specifically to the person responsible for Raven’s death.
“I want the person to know we are still working on this,” Monte said.

Although this is not specifically his case anymore, Monte said he is consulted anytime there is activity associated with it.

“I know this case inside and out,” he said. “As long as I’m here I’ll be tied to it.”

The biggest obstacle for police now is the same problem they faced at the beginning of the investigation — witnesses coming forward.

Police have been confident all along that someone in the area knows something of great value to this case.
