"They were pulled out of the home by (Child Protective Services), and I think CPS did the right thing," Park said. "I raised the three kids until (their parents') parental rights were terminated, and then we adopted them."

I'm counting living (or at least recently living) offspring here after seeing CB's FB comment that she became a mother at 13.
This seems to indicate CB has at least 4 children:
RP, was aged 22
KP, younger than RP
"their brother" fostered and raised by the Parks, age unknown so far
the 14-year-old son who lives with her

one of her FB accounts also mentions a dead baby referred to as "Angel."

I wonder if there are more.

I am assuming they are two different sons - one adopted by the Parks family and the other who was with bio-mom.

Near the end of this 5 minute hearing, Courtney addresses the judge directly, and even after being told that she's not to discuss the particulars of the case, she appears to suggest that she's willing cut a deal with prosecutors so that she can carry out her "jail sentence" at home. LOL

I mean it's ridiculous on account of it happening during an re-arraignment hearing to correct a misspelling, and even more ridiculous that she thinks she is EVER going to walk free after what she's done.

If butchering your daughter and unborn grandson to death don't call for LWOP, I don't know what crime does.

What struck me most in that hearing is how detached from reality she still seems. Even after hearing the charges laid out, she’s behaving as if there’s a scenario where she negotiates her way out of this. It’s almost chilling to watch someone speak so casually in the face of something this horrific.


At the same time, her lack of understanding or remorse doesn’t make the crime any less deliberate. The details coming out paint a picture of planning, opportunity, and intention — not a moment of impulsive violence.


If this case isn’t LWOP, it’s hard to imagine what would qualify.

That’s probably the clearest view of what goes on in Cortney’s brain and her utter lack of thought processes.

I sometimes watch recordings on YouTube of LE interviews with killers and it’s shocking how many of them think they’ll be going home - even those who admit to murder. Inability to read the room in its most extreme!

JMO Cortney and friends likely struggle to comprehend simple concepts even without meth. And with meth, well, we see exactly what happens. Cripes.

Could be blood evidence, baby wpuldd have different DNA than Rebecca, and they can tell when blood loss would be catastrophic

That would make sense, since I highly doubt it occurred to CB or BB to make any attempt to clamp the umbilical cord before cutting it

I think there is evidence with RP that the baby didn't survive outside the mother's body, but I don't have the medical knowledge to know what that could be. I don't think that communication, if that exists, without physical evidence would be enough to charge them with causing miscarriage/stillbirth, but idk.

They may have severely cut the baby when they were cutting open RP's abdomen. Or the baby may have died in utero due to the fact that they were torturing his mother.
