Wondering mind here, as I am in Canada technically we don’t consider the baby as a living human until the umbilical cord has been cut. I’m curious on what is the law in the US/ Michigan state? I’m wondering if this would be a case of double homicide as last known consensus was that RP was still pregnant last time she was seen alive if unfortunately the baby is not found or worse case, found deceased

Reminds me of the Heidi Broussard case. Her ‘best friend’ MF faked a pregnancy, then kidnapped Heidi and her new baby. They were missing, MF killed Heidi, and then tried to pass off the baby as her own. Thankfully, MF’s boyfriend suspected it was a ruse, and ratted her out. I recall how stunned and happy we all were here to find out the baby was alive.

The “no comment” response actually makes me hopeful that the baby is alive. I can’t think of a reason to hide the baby’s death (other than that it’s horrific), but there could be a custody/DCF/privacy reason for keeping the baby’s status a secret if s/he is still living.

I'm wondering if its a possibility that if she has been dead for multiple days or long enough for her body to bloat that maybe they cannot tell whether or not she has given birth not to mention they baby bump stays for a while ( typically looks less rounded but if she were to be bloated then the bump in theory could be more rounded.

my current theory is that RP went to the hospital to confirm her contractions was labor and / or to get a time frame, having drugs in her system she didn't want to get flagged and lose custody of her third child I believe she later got in the car with KP and possibly RPs BF to witch she gave birth else where I believe her bfs charge of having delivery/ manufacture of controlled substance is because they tryed to give her something for the pain and they accidentally od'ed her and her sisters charge of tampering with evidence could be she or they moved her body to the forest ( I doubt she could have moved RP without help but maybe she took the fall?) and her charge for lying to LE was probably saying she doesn't know where she is.

that's the best scenario I can think of...alternatively its also possible there could have been an affair between BF and KP and the OD wasn't an accident.... possibly KP had fertility issues?? idk this is all just my personal speculation.
I also want to mention that I previously thought the BF was a little suspicious, in his interview he didn't show much emotion or even any visible signs of grief imo just based on that they're age gap and him being a sex offender I thought it was a possibility that he trafficked her. all just my personal speculation of how this could all be found out to be.

It’s very possible that they are that high because more serious charges are forthcoming, but I thought that suspicion of other crimes couldn’t be taken into account when calculating bail? That there were parameters around how bail should be set for certain charges?

I know very little about this subject though, so I could be wrong. I just think that the bail for the specific charges seems high - especially for Rebecca’s sister’s charges. If a different person had bail that high for those charges and wasn’t suspected of another, more serious crime, I would be shocked at $750k bail being set.

I was thinking this too and its partly why I'm sooo sus of KP $750k seems crazy high for her charges I think LE is trying to keep both KP and BF away from the public ....... Imo I think LE is definitely going to charge them with bigger charges
