I'm still reading through it. It's a lot of information and a lot of lying and changing of stories. Courtney and Bradly are trying to throw each other under the bus. It appears as if the baby was placed in a blue cooler and put in someone's trash bin which they refer to as a GFL.

The whole thing is awful. Worst of all possible outcomes. I had a hunch that Cortney’s twisted mind viewed the baby as rightfully hers due to jealousy and her prior relationship with RF and the $2000 was a ploy to lure RP there. When RP’s body was found, I was really really hoping they’d kept her captive until the baby was delivered so at least one of them made it out alive. But RP died in one of the worst possible ways and the baby never even had a chance to live.

I hope these monsters never breathe another free breath.

Afterwards they tied Rebecca's body to the bed of the truck to drag her off the road down an embankment.

They both report that the baby wasn't breathing when it was extracted (and they each appear to be unaware that newborns lungs are filled with fluid which generally needs to be cleared in order for them to breath). And they both report that they left the forest and drove back to the house and only then attempted CPR on the infant.

I agree with your understanding of the probable truth inside their(very convoluted) stories.

I'm wondering about the day that RP's body was found. I think that was the day BB took one of the vehicle and was gone for about 20 minutes. It sounds like he drove out to the embankment where they had dragged and dumped the body, apparently accessed the body where it had been hidden (under leaves or maybe just out of sight) and then got it back up to the spot where it was found alongside the planted debit card and other items.

Did he reattach the body to the truck and drag it back up to the spot? That sounds...risky and gruesome and horrible. That's a long time for a body to sit on a wet forest floor; I guess they are "lucky" it is cold.

Why did they (or maybe just he) want the body to be found at that point? It seems like they had decided they would blame KP, but why didn't they just leave the body where it was? And why was this the day they needed it to be found?

Hopefully it's a short life. I'm not thrilled with people like these 2 taking up precious resources like space (too much human sprawl IMO), food and water. As you can tell, I'm not a fan of life in prison.

I'm curious about that too. According to the lass who IDed Rebecca's body, it was found lying on a path out in the open in an area that had been searched the day before, so it's clear that one or both of them (BB/CB) snuck out in the middle of the night to move it.
That was also right after Cortney had been on a livestream telling pork pies about seeing Kimberly on the "dark web" where they "sell babies", and asking Bradly about the two tracks behind the property.

As you say, it seems as if they'd decided to blame Kimberly, but I can't help but wonder if the body would have remained hidden if they hadn't have moved it.
I was surprised that detectives didn't push either of them to admit / implicate the other about suddenly moving the body after three weeks - the only possible mention that I could see was Bradly denying that he'd returned to the scene.

Certainly one of the most disgusting cases ever....

My first impression is THANK GOODNESS for evidence like cell phone data, autopsy report, and scalpel, etc. because testimony from any of these people is completely unreliable.

Second impression is to scoff at the idea of this woman, whose life is complete shambles, is attentive enough at household management that she counts garbage bags.

And, I have questions about the blue chalky substance in RP's stomach. Was that Tide Pods???

One thing seems clear, at least to me. Those who were on SM screaming and "protesting" that LE was not taking Becca's case seriously and was not doing their job were mistaken. They took silence to mean nothing was being done. What the probable cause affidavit suggests is LE was indeed working the case and sifting through the ever evolving tales being told them by the pathological liars that abound in this family. They were indeed, investigating, even as the uneducated and uninformed masses were convinced nobody was working this case. JMO IMO MOO

Probable Cause Hearing set for this morning has been continued for 30 days as what is no doubt voluminous discovery is prepared.

This is not a dumb question at all. It is something researchers are looking at - what happens in childhood and adulthood if you were born with neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS). I teach maternal newborn nursing and this was also a discussion in our classroom this fall. Here is an article that concludes, “This review highlights the concerns and lack of information about the long-term outcomes of adults with a history of intra-uterine drug exposure. Studies are confounded with the many problems associated with a drug-using lifestyle, including socio-economic, emotional and psychological adversities.”

Caveat, the article is from 2018, but I did not find another, more current source (in my five minutes of searching ) that had a definitive answer. I am also not an expert in this area (NAS), so grain of salt and all that jazz!

Also, another caveat, this post is responding to the question about this particular issue. It does not mean that there is any reason to believe Rebecca was using drugs during her pregnancy.

If it was Tide Pods (and we don't know it was), I would think it would be to poison her. Was that why there was an emphasis on milkshakes (Carvel, Dairy Queen) - were the Tide Pods mixed in??
