A couple of meth heads? I'm in the camp that they could perform a c-section. It would be rather sloppy, to put it mildly, and the baby would NOT make it. But yeah, I can envision a couple of tweakers doing that and thinking it was a good idea. *eyeroll*

As far as where the baby is... only they know and I hope it's found so it can get a proper burial if it's deceased, and likely is.

I cannot find any MSM about the state of Rebecca's remains. Was the baby removed? Does it appear that Rebecca actually gave birth? Should the public be looking for a newborn?

It seems to me there would be a lot less speculation, detrimental gossip, and rumor in this case if law enforcement gave the public complete information! Please don't get me wrong, I certainly wouldn't want them to violate privacy law, but in the case of a missing newborn, the more the public knows the better.

It does seem odd that there hasn't been much of a public plea for information about the baby if there's a chance he is alive. Also the language "not with body" seems like a careful choice of words. Maybe LE already knows where he is. Maybe they are holding onto information about him while they figure out more charges or work on another arrest.

This case, y'all!!!!! What a sad sad mess.

Someone way up thread said they might not ever find the baby, if he is dead, because of how easy it is to hide/ dispose of a baby. The good in me wants to think he's alive, well and loved somewhere. The true crime following realist in me thinks the upthread poster will be correct. Maybe tlcya? What a sad and tragic end to this girl who carried this child all 9 months.

A lady in the search party spoke on a livestream about seeing the remains said that it looked like the baby was cut out. If that is the case, the chances of survival are close to zero considering it was likely done after Rebecca's death by a couple of meth addicts with no medical training

and that there was "stuff" coming out. Also that her face was partially eaten, which makes me wonder if any of the gutting could actually have been done by animals rather than hypothetical murderers.
