We see it in these foetal abduction cases, even when the killers aren't addled with drugs. There seems to be a failure to understand just how it looks from the outside, and how immediately suspicious suddenly having a baby is to everyone else.

Does anyone have any ideas on why they are only being charged with one murder and not manslaughter for the baby?

How do you know the baby is deceased? Last I heard the baby had not been found. If they didn’t kill the baby in the process and there weren’t other complications, the baby could have been alive when they cut it out.

I just watched the arraignment. The prosecutor clearly states the baby is dead due to CB and BB's premeditated actions.

Every day I think it can’t possibly get worse in this country…in this world. Has anyone heard what on earth the possible motive is? She obviously did not want the baby and tried to point the finger at her other daughter. Was it revenge for her daughter being in a relationship with her ‘ex’ or whatever he was? It is obvious that her mouth drew LE straight to the conclusion that she was guilty as hades. Why wait until RP was about to give birth? Had she been trying all along this pregnancy to cause her daughter to have a miscarriage? We may never know.
