I think Circuit Judge William Marietti gave some of the best oral jury instructions I have heard. He was clear about weighing the truthfulness and testimony of the witnesses, the role of the opening and closing statements, how the jury is to begin -- from the perspective of innocence and then careful weighing of evidence. Impressive.
Thanks, loreet. I didn't hear Judge Marietti's instructions myself and not one tweet came through regarding them so had it not been for your post I'd not have known how impressive Judge Marietti was.
