Wehby: There was no recorder to take. He previously testified that one was not available. "We don't carry that equipment" with them. It is not assigned to them. If Young had not gone to the hospital, he would have been taken to the police department, where the interview would have been recorded.

Wehby said he got to Botsford Hospital the day of the attack between 4-5 a.m. He said there was a lot going on that morning. He said he had to worry about the scene getting processed, interviews had to be done with Isabella and Tanner Cipriano, family members were coming to the hospital, he had to interview Young, Tucker Cipriano was still at large.
