I have been on WS for about 10 years and this is the first time, folks have noted the skills that have been refined to a rather special level of observation.

WE could be a valuable asset to an overworkd Law Enforcement community, with our varied and extensive backgrounds and interests in crime and criminals, of long standing.

I would like to know how the bodies were found, directionally in the garage, and have the vehicles been moved as of now?

Guess I have watched too many TV and movies about the lines drawn showing the position of a body or bodies at the crime scene. I did not note such drawings in the photos that have been provided here so far.

Also was the garage door open or closed when the crime scene was found. Additionally was there another exit door from the garage to the outdoors other than the garage door?

According to www.clickondetroit.com, Roger Jabalee's March, 2007 arrest resulted from a drug raid at the same sketchy Detroit-area nightclub where Eminem's best friend and fellow rapper Proof was shot and killed last year (Proof was shot & killed after Proof shot another guy in the head, IIRC). At the time of the shootout, the club was (allegedly) operating illegally, after hours.

I'm fairly certain that local prosecutors were trying to shut the club down after that incident. I wonder what happened.

The article states that the March, 2007 raid occurred after police obtained a search warrant in a drug investigation.

I just don't see how it could be in vain! Picture yourself in the place of Christine (horrible as that may be), and you KNOW you are dying. You have a chance to leave a message on the floor in your own blood. God, what a courageous woman! What would you DO? I am certain I would try to leave a message that was OBVIOUS....at least to someone! We know that the perp wiped a good part of the message away, but we also have a good part of it left. WE don't have the other clues to link it to, but that's OK. Maybe our out-of-the-box thinking will help. Does anyone have photoshop so that they can reverse the image and look at it as a negative? I don't have photoshop, and I usually try to create the same effect with MS Paint, but I can't get the dang picture to paste into paint! :crazy:

Brother looks like real trouble.

I could not see enough of the tatoo to see the larger part, it also looks like there is more underneath what is so visible also.

The letter that looks like the d me has firm strokes with the same intensity both in the down stroke and the circular stroke, with hard intensity and purpose by a stronger hand, like perhaps the d had been overwritten by someone else to obliterate what was already written underneath.

IF the knife was one of the family's perhaps the killer handled other knives in the drawer prior to selecting one to kill with, maybe fingerprints possible in the drawer or other knives in a wooden block or?

Nice find Sumerskye1! This case sure does smell like a case where the murder happened as an act of revenge, or perhaps warning to someone involved with gangs or drugs. The murder was targeted, brutal, and there was no robbery or sexual assault. You would think LE would have an inside on the local gang/drug groups that could help ID the message. Unless it is just too scary for the people who KNOW what it means to come forward??? To me, that doesn't add up either. If I am laying there dying, I would try to leave a message that was at least obvious to someone who cared! Oh wait a second!!!:doh: Could the message have been a WARNING to someone else, perhaps someone Christine cared deeply about???

I looked it up and the name of the nightclub was/is C.C.C. nightclub, so that's not it...

I was wondering if the neck tattoo on the brother who's been arrested might be associated with one of those Motorcycle Gangs mentioned earlier in this thread. Or with any rival gangs.

Cops are working on uncovering what the motive for this crime could have been.

Ron's brother, Roger, has been arrested in connection with a narcotics trafficking ring and is being held on $1.6 million bond. Additionally, cops are wondering if New Baltimore motorcycle gangs, such as the Outlaws, the Devil Deciples, or the Vigilianties, could have been involved in the gruesome murder. One motive that has been ruled out is robbery: Ron and Christine were both wearing all of their jewelry, and Ron's wallet was found in his pocket.

Tell me if you think the first letter of the tattoo looks like a cursive L.

If we could access the police report (sometimes those are online free), they usually notate any tattoo's. He sure looks rough around the edges. What if he came home to ask for money(or help). He kills his brother, she interrupts and is pulled from the stairs out of her shoes and is subsequently killed.

I guess that doesn't explain the gas can though. Are there any unmatched fingerprints? Or would an absence of foreign prints indicate someone that has been there before, i.e. the brother. Were there any carpet fibers on the gas can?

I hope their family is looking at this as seriously as we are.

I wonder why LE says that the message could have been written for the Jabalee's kids if they don't even know what it says. Just what about it makes them believe that, because the message must be a name since it seems to start with a capital letter and for a dying woman with broken fingers to do that is important. I still think the message is shortened for Jabalee.

I've found a minor child in Detroit with the last name of Sevic. Can't find any other adult name that might go with that.

Jevic Transportation opened a facility in Detroit in Oct 2006. Maybe the killer wore a uniform w/a patch from the company, or some kind of sign on the car/truck from which he came. The press release is dated 10/26/06, but that doesn't mean workers weren't on-site before that.

Could the top letter be a "J" and the word below be "seta"?

I thought the same thing, why is the name James in brackets? Could that the husband of Claudia?

The top letter looks just like a capital J written in the dark. And the name "Seta" is in the obituary.

A better photo of the top letter at this site. The photo is not much better but the top letter is showing because it was taken at a different angle.
