i too have been referring to them as sr/jr for the same reason as knox. don't know why abra felt the need to agree with me as being only an acquaintance when i've tried to make it perfectly clear that it's all i am. are you family abra? i know ryan has a college degree, and rich has no liscence for alcohol reasons. i my self haven't worked down there in quite some time so thanks for the update on nikki and ron work habits now. and suzie - two knives were reported missing from the house - that is all the tools a butcher needs. looks like my posts upset people so i won't post anymore - just read what ya'll say like i had done in the beginning. my only intent in posting to begin with was to correct some of the wrong things said and to show everone that ron has a different side than the awm video's because i too believe innocent until proven guilty.

Who did you upset Sad? Abracadabra? :hand:

You've been up front from the get-go, let it roll off your shoulders and let's continue our discussion. After all it's why we're all here :)

Sadsadsad, PLEASE DONT GO :blowkiss:!!!!

We really enjoy your posts and you are here for the same reasons we are- To bring justice for the murders on the J parents. This isnt a place to bash or point fingers, and obviously abra doesnt know WHO you are, so please stay with us.

Abra- We arent here to bash Ron F, his siblings, or any part of the J family. This is a true crime sleuthing forum, and with good sluething, you need to throw aout all facts/rumors and see what pans out from clues that you get- Please dont think anyone is bashing the J fam, we are just trying to figure out who would have a motive.

Please return- we would love to hear more from you also.

I truly am sorry if anyone was offended by my comments I won't make anymore. I am just a little to close to the whole situation and would like to see it resolved so people can put their lives back together.

BBM; In that case we all have a common desire, so let's continue our discussion. On some topics "we'll agree to disagree" and respect each other's positions. Please continue to post Abra :)

I agree, everyone should feel free to continue posting because that is what WebSleuths is all about. No one gets trashed here for their opinions. That doesn't mean everyone has to agree with everyone! That would be impossible, but everyone's opinion is respected. While it doesn't look good for Ron Jr. right now, he hasn't been convicted, and we need to hear all sides in order to form a complete opinion. Besides, we are not a jury......simply sleuths who seek the truth and care deeply about victims of crimes - and that includes the family of victims.

Financial Motive Hints??!!!!

Knox- Thanx for the link- I did notice a comment over there that caught my eye:

" Wow it doesn't add up. They will have a lot to prove. So curious about the letters in the garage. "

Anyone know what they are referring to?

There are also a lot of comments that lead to Ron J being after the ins money from several different ins companies.

This will be a curious case as it seems people are split down the line, but LE doesnt take 3 years to arrest someone for murder. Maybe the fact that he withdrew reward $$? $150,000 is a lot to go without for 3 years- he probably needed it to provide for his family.

After I re-read the news story I posted a link to above ... The estate was only valued at 315k where is the financial motive? Does the value of the estate include the dozen or so life insurance/death benefit payouts he references? How much were those payouts total? Ron Jr. spoke as if the 51k Monumental payout was small. The motive is based strictly in the financial dealings of the business and not the Elder Jabalee's estate. Wonder exactly how much debt the business carried and I would not be suprised to see something involving the fact that Sherwood was the sole meat supplier to RJ Meats come up. Maybe Jr. wanted to change meat suppliers and Dad did not want to lose the commission?

Chicogirl; If one leaned towards the son being guilty, putting up 155k for a crimestoppers reward is a pretty safe risk when you know who committed the crime. The money probably came from an insurance payout to begin with, so it didn't earn interest, but was safe nonetheless. I think the comment you referred to means; the estate was very small so FM does not add up.

Knox,
Im with ya on that- Their total estate isnt worth much considering what we have been led to believe. Dont get me wrong, but that much money split in 3 or 4, doesnt add much-

I too, have questioned the older J and his drug-involved bro. I am also confused on that article about all the mortagages and they paid back, amd then re-financed?

I will always have an open mind on ths one until proven, but like I said, LE doesnt take 3 years to arrest the wrong guy, just MHO.

Seems like they had a friend at JP Morgan Chase, lol. The loan for $571k in June 2006 looks like it was probably re-financed in December, maybe rates dropped who knows. I am confused about the above mortgage timelines in relation to the Westchester Drive home purchase? Did they have two homes/mortgages at the same time?

I believe the letters in the garage are the ones scrawled in blood on the garage floor.

I think financial motive may be financial wrongdoing that was about to be exposed. IMO, There isn't much about this crime that looks premeditated or thought out for any length of time. It looks more like a crime of passion possible spured by an argument over finances.

Also, Jr may have wrongly had the idea that his parents were worth alot more than they were.

  • #414
You're right SuziQ, the value of the estate all but precludes premediated murder, there was not millions of dollars there. Do you think Ron Jr. was living above his means?

  • #415
People have been killed for less than $10. Ron may have been dipping in the drawer for awhile and he was tried of his Dad's questions. Also there were other insurance policies from what I understand. Freedom from Mom and Dad's interference and extra speeding money could be motive enough.

  • #416
Knox, In this economy I think it's possible he was living beyond his means. Just don't know though. ITA with Colette. We'll probably find out there was a pressure cooker of things from finances to family issues that reached a boiling point.

Sadsadsad or Abracadabra~ Any ideas on what Knox found? I hope this sheds some light in either way to show us what is really going on. Whether or not Ron is gulity or innocent, I hope this sheds some light in either way. This case has me BAFFLED!!!! At first, I would have bet $$ on Ron, but now that the insurance $$ is coming to light, Im not 100%- Dont get me wrong, there is plenty in his guilt, but I havent seen enough, IMHO.
