So if he was witnessed jumping of the bridge, there is not much we can theorize but only hope for a soon discovery of a body.

I prefer to think of the "Like" as a thank you for the effort of posting this information, but I often have a hard time "Liking" a post that states someone has been identified by LE as a sexual predator, or murderer.

99% of the time jumping off the Mackinac Bridge and surviving just doesn't happen. If you survive the fall, the water is too cold at this time of year - and hypothermia sets in quickly. That said, there is a record of a 59 year old man jumping/falling off the bridge and surviving more than an hour in the water. A lot depends on where you are when you jump/fall (the bridge is 5 miles long) and the water temperature.

i know this was a while ago but he is from my town and i guess ive always wondered how they knew he jumped? were there witnesses? and also how does someone do that? like it isn’t easy to walk on to the bridge or stop your car once you’re on it
