Missing man's truck found, volunteers continue to search

The truck of a missing 50-year-old man has been located, the Oceana County Sheriff's Office says.
Ryan Walsworth's Ford F-150 pickup truck was located Tuesday around 1:45 p.m. on Montgomery Boulevard near Bass Lake.

Thursday, dozens searched an area north of Pentwater, where his truck was found a couple days ago.
Relatives say Walsworth struggles with mental health issues.
During last night's search, Michigan State Police decided to move from search and rescue into recovery mode.

Ryan Richard Walsworth, 50, of Mears went missing Feb. 13, and when his truck was found parked next to Lake Michigan in Mason County the next day, authorities feared Walsworth had ended up in the lake.

Numerous searches have been conducted both in the lake and along the shoreline, including cadaver dogs.

Walsworth's credit cards have not been used since he went missing and he had only a small amount of cash on him. He did not own a cell phone.

Although the body has not yet been positively identified, officials say they believe it is Walsworth. The body was found about 3 miles south of where Walsworth's Ford-150 was located a day after he went missing Feb. 13.
