I still don’t see LE confirmation that Sade has been found.
It saddens me when I see that an autistic person has gone missing especially when we are not given more details about their autism.
Not everyone is on the same playing field. All autistics aren’t on the same operating level.
It would be helpful to know what the missing person’s autism looks like.
Let’s take me for example. I am on the autism spectrum. I am more high functioning than some. I have an auditory & olfactory savant like, eidetic memory (not to be confused with a photographic memory). I do have some of the typical signs of ASD, like restricted interests BUT I am able to do & entertain what others like without getting upset. Well, most of the time. Additionally, I cannot pick up on most social cues. And it is hard for me to communicate what I am trying to say & I usually fail miserably unless I’m given amble opportunity to put my thoughts together, to write them down as I am doing right now (although it has taken me 28 minutes just to articulate what I’ve written thus far). I give people wayyyy too many chances as I believe that their intentions are always good. I guess you neurotypicals would see this as me or rather anyone being naive. It’s not necessarily me being naive, it’s me being atypical, aka having autism. My brain is wired completely differently.
Going back to what I said above about all of us who have ASD, we are not all the same. When you meet one person with autism, you have ONLY met ONE person with autism. Hence why I said it would be good to know more details about the missing person’s ASD. The more details that we have or rather that LE has, the better correct?
This rule should also be applied to someone’s autism.
