Considering how isolated the kids were even at the time of death, if we're looking for someone who sexually abused the dead siblings (if they did indeed abuse a younger relative), there's really only one option.

It is possible that prior to this woman severing ties with family members, and prior to the children being removed from school that she had friends, a social life and persons she exposed her children to either knowingly or unknowingly, who began the cycle of sexual abuse. I am trying to tread very carefully here. There are two living minor children who have lived through heaven only knows the last few years, and prior to their seclusion. Bear with me. A living minor person could have been abused at a much younger age and acted out upon the dead oldest female, triggering her to act out. Just as possible that the dead female child was the original victim of abuse and she then carried it out upon the dead younger male who then acted out upon the unnamed male relative. So many variables. So many possible combinations.

All we know is that mom claims a younger child relative, some articles claim still living younger immediate family member, was abused by older ones. Was that true? Quite possibly. Children who have been abused often do act out inappropriately with other children. The problem is, EVEN IF TRUE, this mother's response was completely horrid, wrong, illegal and reprehensible. I hope she pays for what she did. As a parent, our job is to love our children. Even our damaged, abused, broken, hard, difficult to handle , leaving us feeling out of our depths ones. If WE cannot love and assist them in getting past such things WHO THE F CAN OR WILL FGS?

This case hits so close to home. As a survivor/victor and as a parent whose child another minor relative behaved inappropriately with. I still love the relatives involved in both those situations to this day. Because if your family cannot love you and help you through the damn hard stuff, who is supposed to? Who?

[ETA I may need to step back from following this one now that all these allegations of SA have come out. I am too angry at this mother. I just read this post and while I think it is well within TOS, I feel like maybe this one may be triggery for me on several counts]

That is also possible and was my first instinct in this case. But now, eventually that will be established or not. If some reports are true the unnamed victim of both dead minors is still living and will be interviewed by trained professionals. IF TRUE, that poor child now is left to deal with the abuse, and the guilt that two relative children are dead because they spoke up to the accused about that abuse. How horrible a burden to lay upon a child whose only fault is having been a victim of possible other victims.

And to add to that sentiment, it feels like our societal norms are expecting & supporting some of the "minor" behaviors against children by enhancing our generalized "personal security of NO ONE has a right to intervene/question" my activities as a parent (i.e. discipline, home-schooling indoctrination, religious fanaticism/indoctrination, racism, etc.).
Scarlett, welcome to my world of observing/documenting the interpersonal violence that exists.....is it greater than the past generations OR is it the fact that now the general population is/has become aware of this violence. One of the most disturbing case I had as a "newbie" was that of a female placing her child in a conventional oven, fast forward 20 years and I had another similar case only this time, a microwave oven & a male perp. Same result, death of a child, but a newer, faster methodology!
All politics aside, it DOES take a "village" to raise functioning, caring human beings~ Our "hands-off" & faceless, "not my job" society requires a re-boot, IMHO!

Those children lived in hell. I'm sorry I don't think there was any abuse except from this woman and I'm sure there will be murder charges. Burned with an iron and many more horrible things done by the mom if you can call her that. I believe freezing the bodies will have saved evidence and that in turn will seal her fate. How evil...

That is what I'm going with too. Not buying any of her story.....NONE! :notgood: THOSE kind of People are ALWAYS self serving and calculated in EVERYTHING they do. She was so emotionless yesterday! IMO her kids were nothing more than a tool to use in her game of manipulation and income for HER. She is the worst kind of human! :devil: Jail is too good.:maddening:

It's hard to even sit here and fathom what those poor kids went through without shedding tears for them. SO heartbreaking!:anguish:

Seems that they were doomed as the three parents who should have protected them failed and others missed SO MANY warning signs!

I'm inclined to believe that the mother might have been the abuser and was acting out on things that happened during her bleak childhood. I think MB has some serious emotional issues that will take years to unravel. :moo:

I'm wondering about extreme paranoia. If mom was very afraid of SA occurring she may have been reading signs that were harmless and attributing them to that. I am grasping. I know some times victims of abuse ( not saying that mom was, but something must have happened to her somewhere along the way to kill her kids in such a manner ) can become so worried and fixated on PROTECTING their kids from abuse that they imagine things that are not happening. Maybe that's another reason for the ' home schooling' , being so worried about them being abused at school. Or mom could be the abuser ( if in fact there is or was one ). I know my grandfather thought any girl wearing a tank top or painting their toe nails was ' asking for it', no matter what age they were ....
I feel there is a hint of truth to her story, real or imagined. One sibling helps another sibling take a bath and mom suspects something is wrong with that. *** Speculative***

Yes, and remember in Jhessye's case that Jerice called her little daughter a because she sat on the couch with a boy and watched cartoons.

The Michigan Department of Human Services is taking steps to end Blair's rights to two other children, a 17-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old son. In a court filing, the state said the teen described a house of horror, where she and her surviving brother were beaten with an extension cord and piece of wood, hit with a hot curling iron and burned with a clothing iron.

"Blair tortured Stephen for approximately two weeks prior to his death by tying a belt around his neck, throwing hot water on him while in the shower and putting a plastic bag over his head," the state said, quoting the 17-year-old.

Nine months later, Blair became "enraged" when Stoni said she didn't like her surviving siblings and strangled the girl with a T-shirt and suffocated her with a plastic bag, the department said.

Sounds more and more like Jerice. :cry: :cry: :cry:

I just can't take the inhumane, unfeeling monsters in this world. Monsters really do exist.
