3 Michigan brothers missing since 2010 declared dead

Adrian — Three young brothers who have been missing for 14 years were declared legally dead Wednesday.

Lenawee County Probate Judge Catherine Sala made the ruling after hearing testimony on Monday involving the disappearance of Andrew, Alex and Tanner Skelton.

Sala was responding to a request from the boys’ mother, Tanya Zuvers, who testified she was seeking a measure of closure by acquiring death certificates and placing dates upon her sons’ headstones...

Father of missing Morenci boys now charged with murder 15 years after their disappearance

The father of three boys who disappeared from Morenci more than a decade ago is now charged with their murder.

He [Skelton]was brought back to Lenawee County Monday, Nov. 17, and was in court for an arraignment that afternoon.

Skelton will remain in prison, but return for a probable cause hearing on November 24.


An additional hearing is also scheduled for December 1.
