Oh my goodness just took a spin around the area, state line, house etc. on Google Earth.
It’s a whole farming community! These boy’s could be buried anywhere.
I hope LE has some good evidence to help them lead the searches. JS is just telling them all sorts of things.
Please let them be found.

I had thought about them being buried, but the ground is likely frozen and has been frozen for at least a few weeks prior to TG. He'd need some kind of machinery to dig into frozen ground. I don't think he would have chosen a burial site so far in advance - prior to the ground freezing -he'd risk someone uncovering it.

just some thoughts....and jmo

Anyone else get the feeling those poor boys are a lot closer to 'home' than the father is admitting? How much searching has been done in the immediate vicinity of the parent's respective houses? I am beginning to wonder if these 'places to look' coming from the father are nothing more than the ramblings of a mad man.

Maybe they should search places the mother was/is familiar with...haven't really heard much input from her. (Wonder if they searched her house???)
I know, far fetched...but 'right under her nose' would be a direct slap from father....

Can someone please provide a MSM link showing that JS did, in fact, admit to killing his sons?

I don't want to read articles stating that 'a source said' it. I want to read an article where authorities state definitively that JS said those words.

I don't believe he confessed to anything yet. If he had, he would have been charged with murder and he still hasn't.

This article http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/40452843/ns/us_news-crime_and_courts/ says only that

To me, that doesn't sound like the guy confessed anything. It's bugging me that everyone here is talking as though he has totally confessed and so far, there is no police confirmation of that whatsoever (that I am aware of). If I am wrong, please provide the link for me so that I can get on the same track.

For the record, I think the guy did kill those boys. I'm in no way defending that 🤬🤬🤬. I would just like confirmation of this alleged confession because I don't like to make assumptions in cases like this.

MSM has released paraphrased statements from JS regarding his killing the boys. I'm sure they will not release any exact statements from JS as they will be part of trial. IIRC the statements from JS were given to those interogating him and the info was in numerous MSM articles.

Let me find the media thread for this case and I'll come back and link it. Hopefully that will help.

Also, LE would not jump the gun and press murder charges this soon. It is much harder, though not impossible, to prosecute no body murders. Also, many people have confessed to murders without enough evidence to substantiate the confession. IMO, the lack of murder charges at this time is not at all indicative he has not made some sort of confession regarding murdering the boys.

The search will continue through Friday evening after which the general searches being conducted by volunteers will be scaled back. Any more searches will be conducted by police and fire officials based on specific leads.

"I've made a decision that as of Friday, we would ask to discontinue the volunteer searches," says Weeks.

Now you got me thinking...are there truck stops in the search area? Maybe they are in a abandon semi??

He has traveled that area a lot so I will ask him if there are any truck stops in the area that might have abandoned semi-trailers. Also, any vacant warehouses might have abandoned semi-trailers as well. I hope LE has thought to checkout any that are in the search areas. Anyone that lives in the areas should keep their eye out for any abandoned trailers, these generators that I spoke of can run heat into the trailers or cold air that keeps foods frozen.

I lost my post again... Dont we have percent number of how close to home people are found? I still think he is a copy cat of the guy in Mt Vernon.

Searchers are searching in trees, but are they actually getting up in the tree to see if there is a hole? I dont think anyone would have noticed the hole in the top of the tree where the Mt Vernon family was found. Something was said about looking up and about squirrels. This man liked to hunt, he would also know where to bury the children.

As I mentioned in my 'lost' post, Its tradition in hunting families that they go out and site their guns. So gun shots would not be considered odd on Thanksgiving in the evening.

the broken ankle showing something other than a fall is true, but (and we know he didnt) falling off the chair, on off the banister could very well show the same kind of injury as would jumping out of the tree, out of the semi, out of the dumpster. Nothing has been said about wet clothes, Im thinking he didnt put them in water.

Has the car been found?

There are lots of caves and mining tunnels in Central Ohio, I wonder if there is some up in the Northern part?

The little boy in the brown shirt looks like he is broken hearted and was forcing a smile.

Remember the case where the woman paid an uncover to kill her husband, and LE set up a sting and told her he was dead? Why couldnt LE do something like this with this case? I understand that LE can lie, and its ok, so why not say "We found the bodies and we want you to ID them down at the Morgue. Are you sure you dont want to say anything to protect your rights before we go?"

I hope he is just doing this whole wild goose chase to torture his STBX and he and his family know where they are and they are safely hidden. I know it's a total stretch of the imagination but I cannot fathom the alternative. Those little boys remind me SO much of my own little guys even though they are 5, 7, and 10. My older two have darker hair/eyes like Andrew and Alexander and my youngest has lighter hair and blue eyes like Tanner. And my boys are so fiercely protective of each other and I know if anyone ever tried to hurt them they would all stand up for each other. It just breaks my heart to think of what they went through.

This sparks a question in my head ...I remember somewhere in earlier posts someone mentioning the fact that they haven't using cadaver dogs in the search, or even search and rescue dogs. Has this changed over the past couple of days? Especially with the "father" stating that he killed the boys. Has anyone seen search dogs in any footage or pictures?

Its days like this when I have utter destaste for defense attorneys (apologize in advance for anyone on here who is a respectable one) and feel they should be locked up in the cell with their "client". It should not be anyone's "job" to impede on the investigation of three missing boys. While an entire nation is hoping these boys are found (even if they are deceased) this "attorney" is advising the one person who most likely knows what happened to keep his mouth shut. JS' next court appearence (to fight extradition) isn't until Dec. 14th. This attorney is helping him drag out this legal process and basically halting all hope that JS will reveal where they are. How does one do this and still sleep at night???

<Mod snip> JS needs to tell everyone where those precious boys are.

NOW. :furious:

I personally haven't seen any in footage but, it has been mentioned in MSM several times that search dogs are being used.

I wonder if he didn't originally plan to just run with them, telling them something like, "We are all going to live together, just dad and you boys." The boys got scared, started saying they wanted their mom, and he snapped.

Not that it really matters at this point, I'm just speculating.

This is the only article I found. It was around the same time the rumor started that the bodies were found.

http://www.foxtoledo.com/dpp/news/local/morenci-volunteer-search-for-boys-to-end-friday.

Why are they stopping or scaling back on Fri? Yes, its one week, but stopping so soon?????

I really dont think the family knows where the boys are, and no one has them hidden away to keep them safe. That would be a serious offense, expecially will all the time and people envolved.

The way I've been reading the articles, I'm not sure they are completely stopping, just possibly breaking for the weekend to do some analysis and regroup. They may be stopping civilian searches, but I doubt they are fully stopping all search efforts.

Possible!!! Maybe on his way taking them to FL. He did it before.

**Still baffled as to how a man that had parentally kidnapped his children twice before was still allowed visitation**

I don't have much to go on other than accounts I've read here and there over the years. I don't assume that "underground networks" would not take kids with no adult. I'm talking about groups that would help get kids/families to a presumably better situation. Someone posted here that there is definitely a network(s) of truckers that transport people, and I have read of such.

I'm not talking about child trafficking (please, no!). What I'm speculating is that a relative or other person/couple/group might hide them, on a rural property maybe...maybe even outside the U.S.

I may just be desperately trying to find an alternative that is better than the worst several scenarios that seem to be possible, too.

There are networks who hide kids to protect them from abusive parents when the courts don't.
But in those cases the parent doing the hiding is usually pretty open about it. (thinking about the case where the mother went to jail rather than reveal where the kid was- but she never pretended someone took the child)

Now as far as MSM I still have yet to see any DIRECT quote from LE saying he confessed, in fact the article I just read says they haven't had contact with him in awhile.

Do I believe he hid the boys with someone? Sadly no, I do believe they are most likely dead at their fathers hand. Was it premeditated? Not well if it was that is for sure- I think it was a spur of the moment thing that came to him after he picked the boys up.

I do not believe murderers take the time to think about what state does or does not have the DP before committing their crime. Nor do I think that this guy is a copy cat killer- I just know that while it seems to us that these cases are huge and followed by everyone the reality is most people haven't heard let alone followed these cases. (believe it or not there are a whole lot of people who have never heard of Natalee Holloway or Caylee Anthony- seems impossible for us to believe as these cases become part of our daily routine.)

I think this guy was unemployed, depressed and facing more child support and the only way out he saw was getting rid of the boys- (doesn't mean it is an excuse for the crime, just that different circumstances may have had a different outcome) He took the solution that was "easiest" for him, then yes I do believe he made a half hearted attempt to kill himself. (i say that because I believe he had to have shown clear indications that he had attempted to take his life before he would have been held for mental evaluation.)

I am just as baffled. Especially since there were no charges filed in either of the previous cases, but they were all over this one.

I have a feeling that it is becoming more dangerous for volunteer searchers with each passing day, the weather is becoming brutal.

There is also the fact that the potential discovery becomes more awful with each passing day. (seems that the LE involved with Zahra became less enthusiastic about volunteer searches once the situation began to unfold).

I would hazard a guess that LE will try to use what they know to search with professionals in areas of interest whilst also asking locals to check their own locales.

I believe that LE would NOT stop looking for the boys, and wouldn't discourage others if they felt there was either a chance they could be found alive or found easily.
They will have amassed some clues from the home, the vehicle and the perp himself that will help them determine the likely manner of death and that may narrow down the distance he would have travelled to dispose of them.

It's just time to re evaluate I think.

As always, just opinions I have formed.
