Only thing i read that he recanted was that they were given to someone named Joanne he recanted that to LE. Nothing else has been said. I'd be really interested to hear what he's told the chaplain and his family now though.....

By ex, I meant his ex from his first marriage. She now lives in TX and is remarried. She's also friends with LF and a couple of other people that LF was friends with.

John Skelton, the father of missing Andrew, Alexander and Tanner Skelton told the Morenci police that he has killed his sons.
Sources told FOX 2's Taryn Asher when police searched Skelton's home they found the boys' winter coats and cut cargo straps and possible nooses.
Skelton allegedly admitted to killing his sons. He told police that they were at a schoolhouse in Kunkle, Ohio, but when police searched the building they found nothing. He also allegedly told the police he put the boys in a restaurant dumpster. The police have searched in the area but nothing has been found.
Skelton has also taken the police to several different locations. Parks, campgrounds, abandoned houses and a family cabin in Cobb Lake, Ohio.

Cowardly to tell all these stories instead of telling where those sweet boys are. JMO

I spent the entire day in my office today, certain that by the time I got home, there would be SOME update.

Geraldo just reported that Skelton arrived at the hospital about 24 hours after the boys were last seen on Thursday, which was 3pm. That's the closest time frame I have seen for the hospital admission. Still not very specific.

I have been wondering something the last couple of days and thought I would put it out there... I don't want to say this the wrong way nor am I implying any disrespect, BUT could there be a possibility that one or any of the boys are not JS's son(s). Could finding out something like this have sent him over the edge and into an emotional tailspin??

Finding out he wasn't the father could have sent JS into an emotional tail-spin, but I sure haven't seen anything to suggest something like that. Plus, I think the kids sort of resembled him.

Just MOO that JS is not the bio dad of the youngest son - no basis just an opinion only - nothing more than that.

My hubs and I have 5 boys. our oldest is adopted. Then we have 4 biological. The oldest 4 including adopted son all have brown hair and eyes, Our last little one has white/blonde hair and pale blue eyes LOL genetics is strange. He looks nothing like hubby or I either LOL While its possible something like that could have happened with the custody thing and her freeking out maybe and saying well Such and such isn't yours so you won't get custody of Him anyway... I find it unlikely but wouldn't completely discount it, becuase this entire case is really odd....

That same article says that Pastor Donna Galloway visited John in jail, and visited with Tanya.

So... I wonder if Tanya was the family member who was there with 2 clergy?

I took the article to mean Pastor Galloway met with JS and TS seperately. I'd be very surprised if LE requested TS be the family member for the visit. I think it would be someone from his family, either his mother or sister, or another family member on his side who hasn't been mentioned in MSM.

That's the one I had been playing, up until about a year ago. I still frequent the boards, and occasionally log on to chat and play with friends. If we ever find out their character names, I can dig around a bit.

I don't think they are on friendly terms if he is 3500 in arrears for child support and was jailed as recently as Jan 2010 for non payment of CS. I don't think they would be on friendly enough terms for her to hide the boys.

You mean 3pm Friday right? Because MSM has reported the boys were last seen by a neighbor at 5pm on Thursday. If so that is a huge 22 hour window we are working with.

I also think this 3pm is probably close to when the boys were due home.

Was it ever published what time the MP report was called in?

I typed it how he worded it, but it was on Fox news, which is notorious for getting facts wrong. I do believe he meant JS was admitted to the hospital at 3pm on Friday.

I haven't seen anything about when the MP report was called in.

All I'd read was that their mother reported them missing when they did not return home at 3 p.m.

Although I don't believe she is or would hide them either, I will say that they could be on great terms. My children's father is a complete financial deadbeat on his oldest daughter, yet he and her mother get along just fine. He has been to jail many times over his child support that he owes to her and doesn't hold it against her, since he understands that it isn't her fault he keeps going to jail, but rather chooses to blame the state for pursuing him since his daughter recieves insurance through the state. JS and his ex may have a similar understanding.

Good am... just playing catch up on the news thinkin there might be some news.... could it be possible that JS really dont know where the kids are and that he was in danger for something big. and they maybe try to kill him and took the kids. and that he was swore not to say anything. or did he feel so ashamed that he let them take them and he tried to kill himself but couldnt do it... it is all so confusing. to go a whole week and not talking. there is some reason. i dont think he could he can be so cold and not to tell if they were dead he would give some hint which makes me think they are alive. <mod snip> my gut feeling is that they are alive somewheres. i think far from the town...just my thought... hope they are found soon....
