Who'd he learn this "organization" stuff from? Elizabeth Johnson?? :censored:

Hmm very interesting

The question about the ring cemented my belief that this is not, and never has been, about the boys. It is about controlling his wife and punishing her for wanting a divorce.
I hope the boys are safe. i know nothing about such "organizations" and wonder if anyone on here can share anything? Where does one start to look for information about organizations that ferret kids away, merely upon the request of one parent? Do they try to verify that the parent is sane, or do they snatch kids first, ask questions later? How much does it cost to send kids away this way? Will they ever surface? What happens when the become adults?

I can see JS's ultimate punishment of his wife to be never, ever telling the whereabouts of those three sweet boys, so she is haunted the rest of her life, never knowing if they are dead or alive. What a twisted (several explicatives) he is.

The article says that JS was told he could be held "indefinitely" if found guilty of contempt for failing to comply with the custody order.

Let's hope they do stick him with that charge.

Three million is his full bail? Right?
Not 30 million?

(Yep just checked - It's a 3 million dollar bail)

Skelton's original bond upon incarceration in Ohio was $3M. Following his extradition back to Michigan, his current bond has been set at $30M - $10M on each of three counts of parental kidnapping. Skelton would need to post $3M to get sprung. He isn't going anywhere: The Judge is taking a firm stand.

Skelton's $30 million bond was extended as a condition of his extradition.

John Skelton told a judge this morning that he turned his three sons over to someone from an “organization” at his Morenci home on Thanksgiving Day.

The whereabouts of Skelton’s missing sons, Andrew, 9, Alexander, 7, and Tanner, 5, has been the subject of searches and intense investigation efforts since the boys were reported missing by their mother on Nov. 26.

“A person in a van,” was Skelton’s answer when Lenawee County Circuit Judge Margaret M.S. Noe asked who he turned the children over to at his home.

“I know the organization, but I didn’t know the person,” Skelton said.

“What organization?” Noe asked.

“I would rather not say at this time,” Skelton answered.

WTH? Seriously?

The ring comment to his wife, indicates to me, that this is a game to him, that he is completely insensitive and wants to inflict massive pain on his wife, and is appalling.

Even still, for some reason I have a large amount of hope that the boys are still alive.

I don't know why?

ITA - the ultimate in spousal abuse -- "disappear" the children & never tell where they are.

I have a few things more things to say about JS but they are :censored:

Exactly! This guy makes me so crazy I can't even stand to read about this anymore! I pray everyday for these boys because there is ALWAYS a possibility.
But the ring comment also made me see that he does'nt have a thought for the three beautiful humans he created and brought to life.

WTH is with this guy

Tanya Skelton was called to the stand at the hearing to testify that John Skelton failed to return their three sons after spending Thanksgiving with him. The couple are separated while a divorce case is pending.

When she took the witness stand, Skelton pointed to his finger and asked his wife, “Why aren’t you wearing your ring, hon?”

She did not respond to the question.

Tanya Skelton was wearing a T-shirt with her sons’ photographs and the words, “Prayers for a safe return home.”

could the organization be a cult.. a church cult of some sort. know what i mean.. dont know how else to explain it... was he baptist? or another religion.. is there a place that he might think of bringing the kids then the others would follow after. just thinking out loud getting some ideas... if he didnt know who he gave them but it was an organzation. bet it was to protect whoever the organzation was for...i hope he never sold them to get money...wonder what else we dont know about...please let them come home safe...

TS spoke for the first time
she thinks the boys are alive

Oh my gosh I do remember that now. When I first spoke to TS the monday after they went missing I explained to her that when I first heard the news I was not to worried because JS had given the children to a women that she did not know but I figured that it was not a woman that would do the children any harm and that they were ok. She agreed she did not know here. I guess I asumed that meant had not spoke to her. But I guess you can speak to someone not having previously known them. :waitasec: hmmm all so weird just wan them home.

The family belongs to the methodist church here in town. Not baptist

oh LaLaw2000
Only reason I wondered what it would cost to get him out, is I figure as 'dumb' as he has been thus far, I could only hope he would trip up and make a beeline to where ever the boys may be:)

Just now saw your post, sreshowtime! LOL, I know. I was joking with you.

La Law, heh heh...shove a GPS....OOPS , I mean implant a GPS on him, under the guise of ankle surgery, and open the jail door, and tell him why, you just go on now' bout your business...we'll be in touch....ahem.

Lord honey If I had 3 million...yeah I'd take him home... and get down to biznez:bigstick:

  • #59
It would cost $300,000.00 to get him out on a regular 10% release.
However the Judge could request the bond be paid in full = the whole 3M.

Skelton's bail is 30 million dollars, Java. The 10% would be 3 million.

MOO

Well if JS is 'playing' a 'game', reckon we just need to figure out the board layout and the players , and what community/organization it has to do with.:detective:
We know the game pieces...3 young lads
