I wonder if he could be charged with any type of contempt for with-holding information relating to the investigation, since (if he's to be believed) he knows the name of the "organization" but won't tell.

He should have no rights in this. His "right" to keep his mouth shut is at the detriment of three innocent little boys. Makes me so angry.

In the video of the custody hearing from Thursday (linked back a page or so), the judge says that he may be held in contempt of court, that he is to be held in custody until another hearing in mid January, or earlier if/when he becomes willing to name the organization.In January, he will be found in contempt of court if he does not reveal the kids' location, I think. Oh, and he asked for a lawyer and said he didn't understand what contempt of court meant. I think that's what he said.

I think the hiding the kids “underground” story is bogus.

His first story was, he gave them to JT to be taken back to their Mother, so they would not witness his suicide.

Now he say’s he gave them to an “organization” to be hidden from their Mother.

If JS was aware of any abuse by TS, he could of easily taken the boy’s to authorities, let the boy’s tell the authorities of the abuse. Filed for divorce, and the boy’s would of likely been put in his custody, and even more likely so because the Mother is a RSO. All of this could have been done legally and through the court system. And resulted in JS’s favor IF the allegations against TS were true.

JS is hoping that this story will help him not to get murder charges brought against him.
He may have given the boy’s to someone but, I am still doubting it unfortunately.

It seems like he would be trying to bargain a deal, that IF he told where the boy’s were, they could be held in temporary custody by his parents or something, until the molestation allegations against TS, were investigated. They are his children too, he possibly could request that. And just so that the boy’s would be found, seems like TS might agree to something like that. But he isn’t seemingly asking for any deal of that nature. I still think he’s lying.

And IF the boy’s were taken from the home by this “organization”, what explains the cell phone pings. Why was there any need to go out driving around before he “attempted” to hang himself? Wonder what his explanation is for that?

There is a lot of times a child is NOT believed no matter what they tell law enforcement... and until they become adults the truth never comes out,.

Ok Just going to put this out here,
The many organizations that do “hide” Mothers or Fathers with their children, Are VERY, VERY stringent on the evidence that it is warranted to have them hidden. In other words… They need to have A LOT of documentation to do this, Doctors, Psychologist, Police reports and stuff like that. In addition, the Parent has to show that they tried all other avenues and all other avenues have failed. Children will not be taken by them self’s without a parental guardian it is to traumatic for the child to do this and would cause more harm than good.
With that being said I would just like to state in My Very humble opinion that:

If he spent a lot of time not working, drinking and on the computer, getting increasingly depressed, it's not hard to imagine him attracted to groups that encourage conflict with mainstream ways of life.

If he spent a lot of time not working, drinking and on the computer, getting increasingly depressed, it's not hard to imagine him attracted to groups that encourage conflict with mainstream ways of life.

Seems 'militia(s)' are present in the immediate area...
there is one in particular that worries me...called Hutaree...had LE run ins back in June...I think some are not in jail at this time...:waitasec: Not certain if they are 'active'.

Hmm for every 'good' organization, there is probably a 'bad' one...and they don't all put their biznez on the net ya know.

Motorcycle Organizations? I belong to some motorcycle organizations and know of people in several others and I really don't think they are about hiding children. Even the 1% motorcyle clubs (Hells Angels, Banditos, Mongrels etc) are not going to hide children. If JS were a member of one of those groups, we would have heard about it by now.

Militia group, now that may be something else.

The story hasn't shifted. It just has more details revealed. The family has done a good job keeping reporters at bay, but obviously Tanya had to give an interview.
Spokesperson Kathye Herrera was the one off to the side speaking to Tanya to warn her to be careful what she says in public.... I think Tanya was being 100% honest.

The question was-
Reporter: "How was John as a father?"
Tanya began answering "he was a good Dad, spent time with the boys..."
Kathye, whispers: "Be careful what you say"
Tanya "Huh?"
Kathye: "I'm not sure you want to go there. Can we edit that?"
Reporter: "Sure" and she goes on to explain that is what the pastor (Donna) said as well.

Kathye knows that whatever is said will be used in court should John be tried for murder.

yeah I have been reading motorcycle clubs/gangs...not too sure the Highwaymen or Outlaws sorts would get into hiding kids, but if JS were in some type of group affiliated with bikes, he might have known people who know people kind of thing.

Oh I wanted to add...didn't JS have any friends...other than the one who supposedly took him to the hospital?? There don't seem to be any, shedding any kind of light on this case.

I believe it was mentioned in a comment section under an article that he played World of Warcraft, so nothing "factual". The commenter had played with JS and one of the boys (I want to say Alexander) in that game.

For World of Warcraft, you don't need a super great computer to play, for Everquest II you do need a better computer. Both games cost $15 a month per account, along with a one time purchase of the game, and other purchases of expansion packs. They both require high speed internet. Honestly, one month's subscription fee is about the same as going to the movies and getting a snack while there, so it is a cheaper form of entertainment after the initial investment.

I played Everquest II for a long time, and still log on occasionally to play with real life friends. I wonder what server TS was on?

Showtime, I knew some people well into their 60's who played!!

In one of the previous threads I mentioned that there are chat capabilities in game. I wonder if LE has checked his game logs or even contacted the company to get those?? People tend to tell strangers things they wouldn't normally mention to people they know in real life.

Ok You guys may think this odd but it may help. I am not sure of the time exactally but I want to say last summer 09 there was a MI group that was plotting to kill LE officers or something along that line. There was a father and son from the Adrian area. The father was the leader. However the mother/exwife lived here in Morenci. Actually (hard to believe) but in the home on the otherside of my house. The son got out of jail this past summer and moved in with his mother wearing an ankle monitor. They only lived there under six months and I never knew there names. My other neighbor DZ and BZ- TS's parents knew who she was and they actually are the one that told us about what was happening next door. My point is this had local ties to Morenci. It is possible JS took an interest since it was close to home and maybe followed such an organiztion online once learning more. Just a thought.
