Police search for missing 8-year-old Kentwood boy

An 8-year-old Kentwood boy was reported missing by his family Thursday evening.

The mother of 8-year-old Thomas Ryan Brooks says she believes he left the home around 10 p.m. Thomas is 4'6" and weighs 120 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a gray coat with green on the shoulders, blue jeans, and black and white shoes.

His white and blue BMX bike is also missing and police believe Thomas may be carrying an iPad.

Article updated that he was found safe this morning at a friends house. Gesh give his mom a scare. Glad he is safe
