CENTREVILLE — Douglas Stewart, who is accused of murdering his estranged wife, entered a not guilty plea Monday in St. Joseph County Circuit Court.

Stewart, 29, has been charged with open murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree premeditated murder in connection with the disappearance of Venus Stewart, who has been missing since April 26.

Douglas Stewart faces up to life in prison on each count, if convicted, and remains lodged in the county jail on a $4 million bond. His trial is scheduled for Nov. 1, with jury selection to begin Oct. 29

Yes, nurselady, I'm with you on that.

I can not imagine knowing my daughter is laying out there somewhere. DS needs to man up and tell where she is. But, we all know he's not gonna do that unless it benefits him.

He's not worried about what this is doing to his little girls.

Makes me sick.
