Blood stains were found in BOTH vehicles belonging to the estranged ex-husband of Venus.

Breaking news! Apparent blood stains found in both vehicles belonging to the estranged husband of a Michigan mom abducted when she went to the mailbox in her pajamas to post a letter!

Where other than cnn did this news come from? Anything out of Michigan? And why would there be blood in both of his vehicles? this must have been some plan...and might involve someone else even if he was there too...

OMGoodness is this still the only news that is reporting this?? wow just as unreal as the first couple days and nothing. Now we have significant news and no one is following up. Poor Venus, if it's her blood. Her poor children and parents. I can't imagine the fear as they wait for him to be arrested.imo

Maybe he had the pick up for the drive and abduction then placed her in the older car so the pick up was noticed somewhere late monday. So that his neighbors could say yea i saw his pick up at his place. who knows. going in search of other news sources.

Could be anyone just thought I'd pass it on. Seems like going north would take time but when someone has murder on the mind nothing makes sense. Portage where the body was found is very close to a highway it looks like on mapquest

Susan Murphy-Milano's take on Venus Stewarts disappearance.

So, I offer the following suggestions to law enforcement in this case where the "handbook" has obviously been downloaded:


First obtain a search warrant for all computers both business, personal, close friends and perhaps those of a relative, too.
Gas receipts, credit cards used within that time period must be gathered.
Unusual purchases at hardware and drugstores.
Where was the person 72 hours prior to the abduction? Were they at work? Did they call in sick?
Bank withdrawals within a two week period prior to her being taken.
Cell phone activity needs to be captured between the time of the abduction and the following 36 hours after the abduction.

She also cites a case with similar circumstances where the ex was miles away at the time. He hired someone to do the deed.

These are great suggestions Peki, I would send them to LE, I would especially look really close at ex's family. For some reason LE doesn't seem to do the really hard investigating that these disappearances call for. I know their hands are tied as to what they can do because of the stupid privacy laws that have been passed to protect the criminals. More and more people seem to be disappearing never to be seen or heard from again. I am following 8 right now. Because of all the hoops LE has to jump through to investigate I don't think they will ever be found.

PORTAGE, Mich. (WOOD) - A body was found on the campus of Portage Central High School Saturday morning, witnesses told 24 Hour News 8.

According to witnesses, the body was found by a person walking their dog around 10:45 a.m.

Portage police and school officials told 24 Hour News 8 the victim died from what appears to be a self-inflicted wound.

The victim has not been identified, but officials say it is not a student at the school
