I hope that MSP are more intelligent than this newest question to the public is making them appear...I have to believe it is so. This is truly a first as far as I can recall. I can see asking about an accomplice...but an impersonator?

I have yet to see many security video-cam photos from anyplace that show a person so clearly that it must be that person or an identical twin...JMO. But this makes me think they have obtained very clear footage of DS in VA when they want him to be in MI. JMO.

There's not much doubt in my mind that there is someone who resembles DS very much and has a similar build. Well, anyways, I think this guy- I"ll call him Bluto-was the one driving the Sable around the Schoolcraft neighborhood, was crouched by the truck and may have been the one to buy the Wal-Mart Murder Kit. I think it was his job to be seen and to be mistaken for DS. Moo

They may have {proof} that DS was in BOTH locations at the same time. That may be why they're asking for someone who impersonated him.

My idea is he may have had someone do his job for the day or be seen in one of his vehicles and coming and going from his apartment, all the while there is evidence he was at Walmart in Ohio buying the items on the receipt and a report of a truck just like his, seen in the vicinity of the victim's location the morning she disappeared. The evidence may be the receipt and THEN from that they went and viewed the video from the store and saw someone who appeared to be him. It may have been him and because he was seen in VA at the same time, they believe someone was asked to 'impersonate' DS.

Remember, at the very beginning DS claimed to have an alibi and at the same time, LE said, "He has an alibi for now."

Actually, I think the 'question' by LE is a message to WHOEVER impersonated him, 'we know what your did.' It will just be a matter of time until this person is found out. What will either be his undoing or NOT, is whether that person turns himself in because he didn't know what DS was (possibly) going to do, or IF he was involved as an accessory.:behindbars:

I believe LE has {proof} there was someone impersonating him as they have 'evidence' of him allegedly being in BOTH places at the same time. I think the 'receipt' is what threw his whole plan off. He FORGOT about it.

I lived in some 'big cities' while travel nursing in VA and MD. Without exception, the apartments never had enough spaces for their residents, and I often had to park on the street, sometimes a good distance away. I don't think him parking on the street (if that's really what happened) is all that strange.
