From what I understood, extradition will not be a factor if and when Mr. Spencer is charged. After revealing that, the speaker stated he had just given the reporters one hint. Therefore, it appears Mr. Spencer is from Michigan.

I do not think the St. Joseph county prosecutor could charge Mr. Spencer with conspiracy if he was not a resident of St. Joseph county or there when the conspiring was done. I may be wrong as I'm not an expert in or familiar with State of Michigan court procedure, penal codes, etc.

We will soon enough when he is charged with conspiracy to commit kidnapping or whatever the DA decides is appropriate considering he was "the icing on the cake and being very cooperative".

I'm assuming so since he has a secretary and would be the most likely person to conduct the press conference. I think he referred to his investigators. I was typing fast but couldn't catch every little detail.
