I think it is going to be a stretch that he brought VS' body with him because it would be tough to explain if he were pulled over.

However, he seems like someone willing to take chances, so it might not have bothered him to carry her along with him. I suppose it might also be possible that he brought her back simply because she fled from him in VA. Kinda the ultimate control he was exercising...

I wonder if this is the Richard Spencer we are looking for. He goes by Ricky, lives in Delaware and is 20 years old. This is a cache of his MySpace page because his account no longer exists: http://webcache.googleusercontent.c...0+years+old+deleware&cd=2&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us

I could see where he could pass for Doug. But, he indicates he's in college and is, in my opinion, very cute. I couldn't see him having trouble with girls. Also, this guy shares that he likes to party and says nothing about XBox.

BBM. If the account is gone this is probably him. I'll comment on the good looks and still having trouble with girls. If his behavior is socially inept or extremely strange, no amount of beauty will land someone a girl.

If what was posted earlier is true, about him being pretty much a loner, it is likely he would easily be manipulated by someone like DS if RS was yearning for friendship and social acceptance.

Maybe they think he has psychic powers? So he KNEW something was going to happen, so he got another Doug and tried to rush to Venus to save her. He was just too late. :waitasec:

That's about the only thing I can see....

Oh you are funny.:floorlaugh:

Agree! I don't see a prince charming smiley so a repeat of :floorlaugh:
will have to do.

I'm pretty sure it's him too. Especially because of the following:

May 2, 2010: Article about impostor
May 3, 2010: Last time Doug Stewart logs on
May 4, 2010: Last time Ricky Spencer logs on

May 3: Doug learns about the impostor article, accesses his MySpace account and removes Ricky Spencer as a friend and/or sends Ricky a message telling him about the article and advising him why he's removing him as a friend.

May 4: Ricky reads the message, panics and deletes his MySpace account.

We would for sure have something, Pickie, if the car is registered to Richard Spencer or Doug Stewart...

I'm hoping the person driving the car had a wallet or purse containing id.
Though, now that the drivers licenses are no longer covered with plastic ( the correct word is escaping me at the moment) I wonder how well the lettering on the newer id's holds up when submerged.

Whoever this is, prayers for their family when they get the tragic news.

Good points. I am sure LE can or was able to tie the online friendship through their investigation..... Sadly, deleting the account doesn't mean LE can't get the trail of communications between the two and still get copies of their communications.

If it is Venus, which I doubt, she wouldn't have had ID with her because she was wearing her pajamas.

I'm starting to wonder if Doug jetted out to his parent's house 8 miles away after he abducted Venus and if pops assisted in disposing of Venus's body.

I think that we can all point to cases where people have been aided by family, but I am not sure that is the rule of thumb. It may be one thing to turn your head the other way and not ask questions....it is a completely different matter to aid in the disposal.

After all, these girls are their grandchildren as well, you know? Participating in something like this is a ticket to never ever see them again. JMO.

If LE would be kind enough to tell us (lol) when they spoke with DS on the evening of April 26 and where he was, we could help them make some educated guesses on where he might have put her.... :)

Many posts ago, I mentioned reconstructing how long it takes to tarp up 130lb, travel a mile off the road, and bury it. The next day I timed myself. However, I had to substutute something for a body. So I used three fourty pound bags of dog food. Before I attempted this, I predicted it would take at least three hours. I did it in the daylight, did'nt hurry and was completly finished and back on the main road in one hour and twenty minutes.

I remember you saying you were going to do that. It's a good thing someone didn't spot you, find your activity suspicious and report you to law enforcement! I could just see the look(s) on the officer(s) face(s) as you tried to explain you were wondering how long it took Doug Stewart to bury Venus Stewart's body!

Thank you for sharing.

Was the hole pre-dug? (no pun intended)

Did anyone go by seeing you do this? If so, no one thought anything odd of it?

just curious

and thanks for updating us on this... and following through with it.

Good one! Absolutely hilarious!

lol. It was unavoidable, but serious. Doug had plenty of time and opportunity to dig a grave prior to Venus' abduction. And he had that shovel. So I wondered if blackdog's time included digging, or just covering up the dog food.

That includes everything. With the exception of whatever went down between them when she was still alive.

Hey, I think your right about him digging the hole first.

Laminated.

Did you notice Google maps shows two suggested routs between Colon and Arlington. One is only about ten hours. If he dug the hole on his way to colon, I think he could have stopped and buried her on the way back in 30 min.
