Detroit police are investigating a homicide after finding a woman's body Saturday morning on the city's east side.
Police received an emergency call at 6:45 a.m. Saturday saying a body had been found outside homes on the 12300 block of Evanston Street.
Upon arrival they found an unknown female lying face up between two homes. Police said she had been set on fire and was unclothed from the waist down.
The suspect is currently unknown and police have not released any further information on the victim.
