Sheriff's Office Investigates Suspicious Situation
According to Sheriff Garry Biniecki, Deputies were dispatched to the 3900 block of Aitken Road in Flynn Township at approximately 3:35 a.m. for a call of a missing female. The caller advised that there is blood in the residence and his 42-year-old girlfriend is missing.
Upon the Deputy’s arrival, it appears that a violent crime had occurred within the residence and the possible female victim had not been located.
The Michigan State Police Crime Lab was contacted and has been processing the scene as well as a vehicle involved, which was located later in the morning from leads that Deputies gathered.
Several interpreters have been brought to the scene to assist with the investigation as it unfolds due to the unusual circumstances of the people involved in this incident who speak Spanish and very little English.
There are no more details available at this time and an update will be provided as the investigation continues to unfold.
