Circumstances of Discovery​

The decedent was found dead on a sidewalk next to a building. He was in a sitting position with his back against the wall.

He had a JMH (Jackson Memorial Hospital) band on his wrist, but it was too faded to distinguish any writing. According to the the person that found him, he was a local homeless man.

Seems like they could have made a better guess on the age- 55-100? C'mon!

Even in 1988, this man should not have been impossible to ID with a reasonable amount of investigation. Homeless people can be frequent fliers in local hospitals. I'll bet someone from the hospital would have recognized him if shown a picture soon after he was found deceased.
