Her 1981 Ford Tempo was found a week later stuck just off a 2-track. An extensive search was done in the area and some footprints (women's size 7) were found nearby emerging from a creek, they continued for 3-4 miles along a logging trail before disappearing at a gravel road. These prints have never been verified as being Jan's.
