On June 22, 2023, Michael Feustel was last seen at a family member's place of employment in Crossville, TN. Michael was with a male acquaintance who was supposed to be giving him a ride to a location in Hickman County, TN. Michael's family member spoke with Michael via text later that evening and he had not yet arrived to his destination.Michael has not been seen since the early afternoon on June 22, 2023. All communication via text message ended on the evening of June 22, 2023.Michael also uses the nicknames, "Mack" or " Big Mack"

Multiple agencies investigating after human remains found in woods along I-40 in Cumberland County

THP said the remains were found just after 8 a.m. Tuesday morning, when the Tennessee Department of Transportation was mowing on I-40 East near Mile Marker 313.

There was no thread for Michael so I started one.

This would be in the same county he went missing from. He would have traveled I-40W to go to Hickman but not a stretch to think he never made it that far. These remains were found in Cumberland County at Mile Marker 313 on I-40E.

Thanks for starting a thread for Michael. It may be unrelated but he had a criminal hearing scheduled in court the day before he went missing. . The story about the man he was seen leaving with for the long car trip stating he just left the vehicle and walked away sets of a red flag for me. I personally think the answer lies in who that person was, and the intent of the trip.

Aggravated Burglary and Theft make me wonder if someone had an axe to grind with Michael.

Yes, thanks for the additional info on the details of what was stolen - that's not something one normally does on their own, it was likely part of an organized effort. That he went missing on a car ride right when he's supposed to go to hearing is supicious. If there are several indicted LE will typically get one to give info on the organization as part of a plea deal. especially if they don't have any priors. That doesn't make one popular with any former criminal associates, IMO.
