Michael was last seen on November 24, 2005. He was a passenger in a Jeep Wrangler that collided with a minivan on State Route 54 on the Susquehanna River bridge between Riverside and Danville, Pennsylvania. No one in either vehicle was hurt, but both vehicles were heavily damaged. After the crash, Michael got out of the car and started walking across the bridge, when he either fell or jumped into the river. He is presumed drowned, but his body has never been found.
