‘Hiding’: Husband’s theory on missing wife

Her husband Murray Leahy has made an emotional plea to the public for help, offering a $100,000 reward for anyone who can help find her.

Mr Murray told the Daily Mail his wife had travelled to Perth from Kalgoorlie for medical treatment and may have become disorientated.

He said Ms Leahy could be hiding and avoiding people, given her mental state.

“She may be hiding out in any little nooks or crannies — old houses, back lanes — anywhere like that,” he said.

The grim update from the Daily Mail turned out to be that she hasn't been found yet.

So just click bait.

Thanks for posting it Dotta, it does have a lot of good information in it.

Police do not believe the disappearance of missing mother-of-three Michelle Leahy is suspicious as investigators release new CCTV of her last known sighting.

*****
Supt. Walsh said the missing persons unit had been engaged to help search for Michelle and investigators had been looking through any phone activity or movements with her bank accounts.

*****
Walsh said police were particularly interested in finding a blue bag Ms Leahy, aged 50, was carrying when she left the hospital about 3pm.
“If there is opportunities to find that blue bag that may hold some real investigative opportunities for us,” he said.

*****
On Thursday police released CCTV of Ms Leahy carrying a blue over-the-shoulder bag and a smaller black purse in the vicinity of Stirling Highway in the hopes somebody would recognise her.
