Very interesting thoughts Strach and I will agree, there is a bigger picture associated with the warrant. You may also recall one "insider" posted that JY had gone on a trip and was gambling and had called Michelle for her to send him money which she refused to do. Again how believable this is, is indeed anyone's guess, however this was posted long before this warrant came to light. One has to wonder yes? If true he was accompanied by his family, that does not preclude the possibility of a drop in at a casino to have a bit of fun.

I'm pretty much with you - there is a bigger picture than what is singularly presented in the warrant. I do not find the identification of the witnesses as A and B to be misleading - it was obviously done to protect their identities, nothing more.

I thought I would add also this link from today:

http://www.newsday.com/news/printedition/longisland/ny-limom135091938feb13,0,5100456.story

"Though Linda Fisher's life should have been filled with joy right around this time - her daughter's 30th birthday this week, a grandson on the way - she said she has been able to take some comfort in the happy memories her daughter created for all of those around her.

"As sad as it is, it's nice to revel in her memory," Linda Fisher said yesterday, fighting back her tears now and again."

My thoughts run along this line too, so this is also for RC. My first impression of the A and B witnesses and reference to their ages made me think of Jasons sisters. Still possible if they were put on the spot by LE with pics and financial data and other witness accounts. Then there's the two SS's named Michelle maybe? Shelly is probably short for Michelle and is said to be the younger SS. Add to that in the warrant she said "other things Jason would go out and do". The ring stunt if true and the timing probably was her ring so MY had to pay for another? I wouldn't want that ring back. The Oct. and Nov. 2003 part is intriguing and I think we know something about it. They were married first and then had the ceremony and I think we have all that info in a thread here that may direct us to what that is. Anybody remember if it was Myrtle Beach they went for the honeymoon? Two of those discs are listed with that date.

I took the new warrant info as evidence of financial strife mostly but if you think about it there is more to it. Shows me the relationship wasn't on good terms. Both apparently spent time away from the other with their mothers. Michelle took Cassidy though. Wouldn't Jason have done the same thing if his mother was on the trip to CA.? Just speculating and suspicious but what if that's what Michelle thought and she found out that was an excuse and not true for large expenses he incurred? Was she going through that stuff that night? Is that why there's no reference to the family members "insiders" claim were on that trip in the warrant? I'm sure that's the story Michelle relayed too because that's what she thought. I don't think any of that info is pertinent for the warrant or misleading anyway if LE wanted to show the financial angle.
The date given for the interviews was interesting. Somewhere around that time was when LE took off to Brevard to interview witness but I find it doubtful that those witnesses will turn out to be Jason's family. Obviously I can't say for sure but it would be odd for Michelle to be discussing her concearns about Jason and his spending with either his friends or family. I would find it much more beleivable that it could be the Fishers or even sorority sisters.

I have not heard anyone tell me that they were having money problems and I think it may be a little misleading. I think they made plenty of money to have and do the things that they did as well as live in the house that they did. JMO of course, but I think the "financial problems" were that they didn't see eye to eye on how to spend their money. Michelle would probably have been long term goals with saving for retirement, college, etc. while Jason liked to live in the moment. I think Michelle had long term financial plans and Jason's spending did not fit into those plans at all.

I noticed the Youngs' are sending photos of Cassidy to LF. I'm happy for Linda in that they are doing this. I can certainly see why L&MF have been quiet in one way. If she said anything derogatory about JY I'm sure the family would cut her off from her grand daughter completely.

Her aunt said that Cassidy seemed to be doing well from recent pictures. Isn't that just so kind of JY to send them pictures. Looks like he may be back in the running for father of the year after all......

Once again, I think you're right. If it was big time financial problems like credit cards maxed out, default on loans etc., I think that would have been specified in the warrant rather than them getting this info from 2 younger & older witnesses.

You are so right on that one.

RC, I know you'd never do anything to hurt an animal.

And ladies, if a guy is a jerk before you marry him, remember, he will only become a bigger one. After you marry him he will think, oh, I got her now, what's she gonna do.

And if he does not want children and you do....well, ladies, please find this out BEFORE you get married.

And men, if you don't want kids and she gets pregnant, just divorce her. Divorce is a lot cheaper than a really expensive lawyer to defend you for murder in a long trial.
There is an old saying that holds true

A woman marries a man hoping he will change and man marries a woman hoping that she won't.

Obviously both sides are always disappointed. :banghead:

You have got a young couple that has over a half million in property alone. With the real estate market (raleigh is still rather strong, imo) they could have easily sold the 2nd home if things were as desperate as the media wants us to beleive. I just have a hunch that she was more upset about his spending habits rather than the fact that they would not be able to buy groceries the next week.

JMO, of course....

I think this is indeed the big picture - there was money and no dire straights, it just may have been used in ways that were not exactly practical and perhaps a bit frivilous at times.

As a side note (and not to belittle this), note the differences:

http://www.wral.com/news/local/story/1201935/

Two children were also found unharmed inside the house, authorities said.

The identity of the victim has not been released, but real estate records show the owners to be Jakiem and Nneka Wilson.

Neighbors of the family are stunned by the death.

"I'm still devastated. I just cannot believe it. I don't personally know the people. I know the area," neighbor Gwen Spivey said. "It's very quiet, never been a whole lot of trouble. I've been here all my life, there's never been any trouble hardly."

Investigators said the husband of the woman found dead in the home is cooperating fully with them. They also said the children are safe. They are asking anyone with information to please call the Wake County Sheriff's Office at 919-856-6900.

I agree with you both.

And if this is the case, then I can see Michelle complaining about things like this to family and friends.

Is this close to Raleigh then being WCSO?

Yes WCSO is handling the investigation.

Jilly - I tell you, many times there have been things that I have wanted and my wife felt were not justifiable. My philospophy is you only live once and my boys can bust their behinds as hard as I have to get somewhere financially. Honestly it has caused a few problems but, I respect greatly the balance my wife brings to many aspects of everyday life. I'm spoiled, she gives me my mad money just as she has hers. There simply has to be this balance, without it things will get out of control easily. I have the idea in my head that what Michelle was really upset about was the balance, not the money per se.

Wow. This is interesting then about this other murder - bet JYs supporters will be running amok with this.

I think you may be right about the balance. We definitely need to hear more. I wonder if there's any truth to this gambling. I somehow don't think they were in a position to squander money.

Interesting, but a coincidence in my opinion, until we receive further details. I am curious if there were signs of forced entry in this house, the time of day it occurred, and how she was killed. I'm still leaning toward Jason with regard to Michelle's murder due to the phone call to Meredith, the absence of forced entry, and other facts we know of about the marriage.

Yes it was really generous of him to send photos, after three months.

If I am not mistaken didn't JY and MY live closer to Cary? If that is the case then Wendell is about 20 - 30 mins away. It is a small quaint little town compared to Raleigh & Cary.

The point being that not only did the husband find his wife murdered, he called 911 and is cooperating with LE - only reason I posted it.

Major differences that should make anyone wonder why JY is not cooperating.

I realize that also, raisincharlie and assumed that was why you'd posted it. And you're right, there is a big difference between the two cases. There was another post which inferred that Jason's supporters would 'run with this news' and I was just saying that I don't see a connection between the two murders.

Perhaps they should not run too amok with it - this woman's husband happens to be cooperating with LE to find the murderer of his wife - if he continues to cooperate he is going to make JY look like...well you know. :p
