...i know their sexual life isn't really any of our business and i don't really expect an answer to this question. but what is it that Michelle wouldn't do sexually was it something out of the norm? and is it related to her visiting with the therapist and perhaps because as you said...threat of exposure is what was a factor in her murder?

Seeing a therapist that specializes in transgender issues is a big clue. Perhaps, Jason revealed to Michelle his "feminine" feelings. Perhaps, he wanted to reverse roles with her in the bedroom (him being the female and her being the male); and she didn't feel comfortable doing so.

If this is the case and Jason discovered she was seeing a therapist who specialized in these issues, I can see how he would feel betrayed, outraged and panicked. Couple that with possible divorce and custody issues along with money problems, I can see a recipe for homicide and a brutal one at that.

it is my understanding that MM and jay dated in college. i don't know if it was before or after (or during) the time he dated Michelle Fisher.

Okay, thanks. Then, it makes more sense that alcohol, vulnerability and familiarity played roles in their "get together."

I don't think that RF was openly gay in Raleigh. He flirted with girls and some people were shocked to find out that he was gay; they only learned of it after someone posted RF's MySpace page.

Could jay's rampant flirtation with women be just a cover for a secret life? Could he have been making internet male hookups like Michael Peterson?

Was the secret bi-sexuality? Cross-dressing? Transgender issues?

Was he trolling the internet for anonymous sex with women like Entwistle?

This is what I don't understand. Now, if Jason were drop dead gorgeous and MM had secretly harbored a crush on him for years, maybe, it would happen once if you were totally drunk. Other than that, I just cannot see it...unless she was somehow jealous of MY and wanted to get prove that she was just as good for some sick reason. I personally think that MM has some serious personal issues.

Well - she claims that she was vulnerable at the time and jy persued her. I can see that since he apparently had many other women.

You could be right - she really shouldn't have been corresponding with him all those months either, imo. You just don't do something like this behind your best friend's back.

in keeping with your train of thought here. a question i have is this; we've heard he's complained to females in the office that there were things sexually that Michelle wouldn't do and it "caused" him to look elsewhere as apparent by his relationship with MM. and also could be why they only had sex once...perhaps thats when he brought it up to MM and she said no way also.

I think that something was going on with Jason. Perhaps, his womanizing was a way of not wanting to admit that he was gay?? I also thought of Michael Peterson and how he viciously beat to death his wife when she (supposedly) discovered his secret life. In that family, too, Katheline was the bread winner. So, I think that Michael murdered her when his entire lifestyle was threatened. I feel that the same dynamics were happening in the Young relationship.

who have posted on jay's behalf, it appears that jay was raised with a very rigid and outdated structure that define the roles of men and women.

jay is an outdoorsman, a tall guy - what would his family and the people in his small hometown say if his secret was revealed by his wife?

he had to eliminate the threat of exposure.

I think that Michael Peterson had male on his computer, didn't he?

I don't know what to think of the condoms. Perhaps, Michelle mentioned something to the therapist. Condoms, as you say, could indicate all sorts of things, to include Michelle insisting her philandering husband wear them when and if they had sex.

the therapist takes a history on the very first meeting. michelle would talk about everything in her sessions, including ALL about her realtionship with jay. i think she would want validation that a divorce was the right decision for her, cassidy and the baby boy.

If Jason had sexual orientation issues, I can see Michelle wanting to discuss them with a therapist familiar with similar issues and how it might affect children.

Plus, there are those guys who "hate" gays because they secretly fear being gay themselves. Then, there are other closet gays who go overboard and become very masculine and become policemen, firefighters, football players, etc.

If Jason grew up in a rigid family where he was not allowed to express his "feminine" side, he definitely would keep it a secret. He may have insinuated things to Michelle or even outright told her (perhaps, when he was drinking) his inclinations.

Who knows? I just feel that the transgender therapist along with the police being granted access to these records is a big clue.
