No news today :doh: Friday before Christmas I was so hoping there would be some action in the case. What with the Duke news today, that probably queered it.

You guys just haven't listened to the tape where the voices had been clarified of background noise, etc. I heard Cassidy clearly ask for a washcloth and heard her say Daddy did it as plain as the nose on my face. I think Meredith asked her 'Was anybody here'. It was a trip to hear the things she said.

And now that tape is not floating around anymore - probably because it will be used at trial when they finally nail the b()%rd who committed this horendous murder. Scandi

I did hear the tape a couple of times, and did hear "daddy", but not as clearly as you're describing. The problem is that the child is only two years old, so on her word alone, LE can't arrest "daddy", but you're right ~ the tape can be used at trial.

Yes, she comes on here at 5, in 20 min. I've had CTV on and all they are talking about is the Duke fiasco!

One interesting thing though. Wade Smith was sitting in the group of attorneys at the news conference. The group looked like an oil painting from the the time of our founding fathers, except for the clothes. Older respectable men with silver white hair, and one guy had a silver goatee that would knock your socks off.

When they were done the announcer came on and said that was the very best news conference by a group of attorneys that she had ever seen. They were very low key, almost reserved but amiable. And then it was really funny, because the last thing the attorney said was Oh, they only dropped the one charge!

I found myself wondering if we would be seeing something like this with Michelle's case, but don't think so. All together different. Unfortunately Wade Smith was a sharp guy, kind of like an old well heeled snake charmer! BaHaHaHaHAHa Scandi

Hi Scandi if CC is shown later for you then you need to watch it.

I watched it and so did another poster but will let you make your own determination on what is said by Ed who is with AMW and what he has learned about the case. Listen real close to what he says.

Me too! I could've turned it on at 5:00pm but we were waiting for the shuttle landing ~ and who would've guessed that something important in Michelle's case would've been on!

I don't doubt you - but now this thing has spun out to JY's parents are now saying he was in Brevard when MY was killed. I recall very early on in this case Sheriff Harrison commented that family alibi's are rarely reliable and thought it was an odd thing to say but it has never left my mind. Then we have Fussell saying JY told him at MY's funeral that JY went to VA on business. Something is way out of kilter here and I just have a hard time with some guy who has zero to do with this case going on TV and repeating what supposedly police told him when the police are saying zero zip nada - something is not right IMO.
