Think I'm going to ask mods if I may change my hat to SCCJ: self-confessed conclusion-jumper. Assuming the poster that started a strong debate over at that blog is part of Jason's famly, (whose hat is are-you-really-that-dumb???) - then I have to say I was impaled on m r-u-r-t-dumb's words when he is the one who has decided to lean Michelle's MURDER against Law Enforcement's political/election campaign.

Vile! That's about as callous and as horrific as it gets. Meanwhile, this poster is bleating away about 'devastation' ?

Ehem - shows exactly how his mind is really thinking. Devastation, my foot! :behindbar

Maybe the document/fax was sent to his home printer. If that is the case no password is needed for the sister.

Also, I would be interested to know of his past habits in out of town meetings. Was it common for him to leave at that hour? Who was he meeting with? Did he show up?

Hi Taximom - I'm sure I read her b/day is February... think I read Feb 17, 1977. (It struck me because of all the 7's ... next year my birthday falls 07.07.07 heh heh ... :D)
Thanks. I read so many threads and the details get lost! That's a lot of 7's! Is that your lucky number?

So I was wondering what the "gift" was for, assuming that was what the fax was about. That's about the ONLY thing I can think of that I would want to keep from my spouse-a surprise of some sort.

I can't imagine my fax machine coming on while I'm at home and not going to it to see what was on it.

Assuming he's totally innocent, he calls the sister because he didn't want his wife to see the fax when she got home from work? (Because that's where she was supposed to be?)

Or he knew she was at home, because she had the day off, and sent her sister over there? I can't imagine my surprise if my sis showed up and said "I need to get a fax from your machine."

That's why this whole "fax" thing sets my hinky meter off. It will be very interesting to find out all the details about this fax.

Good point, Taximom. Mine was overprotective because we lost our twins due to premature birth the first go round. (almost 19 years ago) My subsequent pregnancies were immediately after that and close together so he was very protective from the very beginning of the pregnancies. Michelle was young and healthy and probably had no problems with her first pregnancy so none would be expected with this one.

Good point about possible affairs. You never know these days.

It really will be tragic for little Cassidy if she ends up losing both parents.
SewingDeb, I'm sorry to hear about your twins. I would be very over-protective too afterwards. ((hugs))

May I take a quick poll? How many of your husbands, boyfriends etc have started their Christmas shopping for you?

:waitasec: :waitasec:   :waitasec: :waitasec:

(suddenly it's very quiet here)

Sorry, not going to buy the Christmas gift/fax thing here. I think it's all part of the alibi.:twocents:

Thank you. Everything went well with the next pregnancies luckily.

Not if Dear Daddy is a cold-blooded murderer. She'd do better growing up with someone like Meredith.

No doubt.

My fiance is just now starting to talk about what I want for Christmas and asking for a list. This is early for him but he vowed not to wait until the last minute this year. We each have four children so I'm glad he is getting their lists now, too.

I don't think men usually think about Christmas presents until after Thanksgiving.

LMAO!! Yes, it did get quiet didn't it? :)

I'm confused.... How do you get a confirmation/printout on your printer from a company from whom you purchased a "surprise" gift? Whenever I shop online I get email confirmations but for them to appear on my printer I need to physically print them. Am I missing something? Please someone help me out.

Secondly, IF (and that'a a big IF) my hubby was to "surprise" me with something, he knows not to send it to our home. He would have whatever (email confirmation, fax) sent to his work fax/ work email.

My DH went out of town and we are expecting our 3rd. He called before he left (he left from work) and he called when he arrived. But that is us... I didn't go because it was mid week and our oldest has preschool. Other than that we would have been there...preggo or not.

Lastly, this Are you really that dumb person on the other board not only is calling LE liars but Meredith too. I'm pretty positive she can tell the difference between a fax and a printout.... :slap:

FYI, I am keeping Michelle's family in my prayers. I swear this is deja vu.... ISP all over again. <sigh>

Bwahahaha. :D that's a smiler, taximom! Hubby looked at me as though I was crazy on Sat, when I said I need to get my Christmas cards, wrap, tags and some table goodies before the best ones are all sold out! So .... his thinking of my Christmas gift? No. I don't think so. Certainly not until after November pay-day, at least, lol. Hmmmm... my perfume stock is reduced to zero. D&G's Light Blue is my fave. (Better give hubby my own private tip-line, lol)

On the mermaid singing link from above, one of the posters is saying it was a shotgun wedding, Jason has expressed his unhappiness and tried to cheat at least once...take it for what it's worth.

That was odd to me as well, if he had a printout sent to the home for a surprise gift, why wouldn't he take the extra 5 minutes and have it sent to a place like an office supply store near him at the time and if it was in the form or email, he could have had it sent to a friend or family. I am with you on the rotten fish...
Geez...I have paid for items online. You put in your email address to have the confirmation sent to you. It just doesn't make sense that this guy would not have the confirmation of payment/order sent to HIS email address. I am putting my money on the husband murdering the wife...plain and simple. I just hope that LE is able to gather enough evidence to charge him and to have him convicted.

Just my opinion, folks. ;)

A post by r-u-r-t-dumb on the mermaid blog, right after his first copious essay:

By the way, there has never been any info released as to if this was a burglary or not. As you may recall from the 911 tape, the sister says repeatedly that "this house just doesn't look right." So, sure sounds like something caught her eye when she entered the home. Burglary would have to be a strong possibility and the police have not ruled that out. Get your facts straight. Also, might want to change your headline as:

Jason Young- Murderer?

looks an awful lot like slander.

"Something" caught Meredith's eye? No way! Really? I'm smothered!

Hello-ooo.

Ugh, theories & explanations against such a ridiculous statement don't deserve the required oxgen to keep it alive...

(thinking out loud) I was wondering if this "confirmation" of a gift was something that he printed out while he was at home and remembered leaving on the printer and asked the sister to go by the house and retrieve? Anything else would make no sense IMO.

For once, I'd like it to not be the husband. Not looking that way right now though. Poor Cassidy!

I wish that it weren't the husband, too. From the little that I have read, things certainly don't look good for him.

Why on earth would the guy--who has nothing to hide and who has an alibi--lawyer up immediately?? Why wouldn't the guy want to clear his name. So, the police can start looking elsewhere??

I'll tell you why...He has something to hide...

Sorry, I have been looking for a link all the way back to page 8 and I cannot find it. I remember reading that Michelle's sister said that is was NOT ordinary for her to go by her sister's house. But in the link from the forum has the poster saying that is was very common for the sister to be there. Me thinks someone is lying, and it's not the sister.

That certainly makes sense to me texasgirl. We have all been looking at this as something that arrived after he left the house. It is very possible that it was something that he printed out before he left and forgot to put it out of sight.

I remember reading or hearing that too gardenmom. Is it possible that she said it on the 911 call?
