Thanks luv - I figured that someone where she worked would definitely know whether she should have been there or not. I can see not mentioning it to co-workers but surely the "boss" would need to know. So IMO this is one issue that LE most likely has a definitive answer for. Appreciate the information.
I feel certain that Michelle was close to at least some of her coworkers. They would definitely know when Michelle was going to be working and when she was not. I wonder if any tried to call her when she didn't arrive.

It will be interesting to learn if Jason told Meredith that Michelle was working. Yet, it was her day off and a coworker tried to call to see where she was.

I guess Jason will say that "he forgot that it was her day off" if this proves to be the case.

i think it's safe to say that JY told Meredith that Michelle was at work.....who's to say that Michelle wasn't planning on going to work, & also had a dr's appt the same day??...i understand that Michelle had flexible hours, but flexible doesn't necessarily mean that she wasn't going to work that particular Friday.....either way, Meredith was under the assumption that Michelle was going to be at work, & i believe she got this info from JY....

I agree.

Okay folks I'm going to start a conspiracy theory here. The below link was provided by Otto. There are a couple of things that stand out to me so I'm going to see what you think.

http://www.newsobserver.com/167/story/506181.html

"The Enchanted Oaks subdivision, peppered with stately homes and flanked by oak trees shedding their leaves on the sunny day, sees little crime other than the occasional teenage prank, Martin said.

"This is the first thing I've ever seen like this," he said.

The Youngs bought their 2,800-square foot home in May 2005 for $379,000, according to court records. Michelle Marie Young graduated in 1999 from N.C. State University with an undergraduate degree in accounting.

On Friday, a porch light and two lampposts on brick pillars beside the driveway burned, and a pumpkin rested on the front stoop. A gray Honda sedan was parked in the driveway near two basketball hoops, one of them child-size. A garage door was left half open.

Martin said he noticed the lights were left on a few days ago."

Note the date of the article is November 4 - what if the lights being left on where a sign to a hit man that JY would be gone and MY would be home alone and off work that Friday ?

Thank you so much for looking into that.

My next question should be obvious. If Meredith Lynn drives a Honda and she is indeed the Meredith that is Michelle's sister, why haven't any of the "friends of Jason and/or Michelle" on the CTV board cleared that up? They claim to be in the know, but theyr'e not in the know enough to know what cars they drive ... always going along with the statements that Jason is driving "Michelle's Honda". The reason I ask this is not do debate with someone on another board, but to question how seriously we should take these "in the know" posters.

Well....they're in the "know" as of this morning courtesy of RC! :D It will be interesting to see which one of the "friends" at CTV puts up this breaking news!lol

Thanks RC for getting that info for us! :)

ME TOO! I believe SIL took JY's words in absolute good faith - and, believing JY's word (either insinuated or indicated) that Michelle "mustn't see it" tells me Meredith *had* to get across there *before* MY saw it.

Hmmmm. Thought this all along ... Also, if JY had NOT called Meredith, she would have been able to prove this in a flash ... and then?

Ontoppa which: we still no zilch.

hi polk :blowkiss:

yep, his timeline HAS to jive...or not

ugh, i want to continue here, but my great niece will be here shortly, & i have to get psyched up for it, LOL....got plenty of coffee in me, so here we goooooooo.....i'll be back!

Great niece? To have a great-aunt with a heart and soul as young as yours is a blessing for your clan, close ... I betcha don't really have to get too psyched up else they'd steer clear of your house, lol! Enjoy! My mom, (granny to a battalion let alone a TROOP) tells me "babies and children are light & joy; they're the reason we have homes..." Bless!

Re: Jason's timeline. LE asked for any more witnesses a week ago. They haven't repeated that call or asked anything else. Maybe they're satisfied with (whatever) a response received?

My money is still on this Sheriff. I reckon, through investigation, perception and information - he's got his patchwork squares well-sorted. It's the strength of the nylon he's using to stich to all together.

I DO think there'll be a story, soon. He knows his public are counting on him. He's biding required time (unperturbed about what WE want), but is focused enough to get what HE wants. He also knows his public want SOMETHING. He'll give it to them ... he'll give them enough to support his team's efforts and conclusions - and will be wise enough to leave adjudication to higher ranks.

JMO (and btw: I'm still pretty messed from the last work out charlie gave me with his response, so please cut me some slack, LOLLLL!)

Charlie!!!! Diddincha know? I'm on forum-life-support system ... it's terminal ... but I handle it. THAT ... I promise, lol ... heh heh! :D

Actually, at W/S posters are so professional and good to one another and it's okay to be put back in your kennel with minimal barking. Over at other forums, it's blasted chastisement to an enth degree. We're all mulling over, and considering, a multitude of probabilities, aspects and new thoughts - none are too stoopid (er, granted, except a car in a garage with the door closed, hee hee).

All comments help the greater picture. I have to say - you, otto and close_enough totally flummoxed me with your great 'rally' re the house, pics, links, mapquest and thoughts a day back. Heck, I saluted you all!

Hey!! A poster over at CTV just made a reasonable comment and suggested along these lines: "with no reward offered this far in, LE probably have no need for an reward"...

Hmmmm.... No reward even asked for yet, very odd indeed. I would think her family would be pushing for one, unless........

  • #251
No reward, never thought of that one. Also, is Jason the only one that has hired an attorney?

  • #252
raisincharlie, does the info you found give Jason's middle name?

ooh-er ... reading just the last 2 or 3 threads at CTV???

Holy Schmolie it's a replica of SP posting-days. Seems they're building up to a crescendo.

Yes, seems no reward - and no more pleas to public. D'you think that added to the total silence for a week = dotting the odd i and crossing the final t, perhaps?

Also heard Nancy Grace is covering this at 8 tonight - at CTV they say the promo ges something like: "a new twist in NC slain mom murder ... (etc)"!

Goota gt that transcript!

Hi Msissy .... eee-yup, that's right. Also ONLY one that had to have court order to submit 'the goods'.

And he fled to Brevard .... :innocent:

Thanks for the heads up on NC covering it. I'm so glad her transcripts are posted since I can't seem to get control of the remote at the right time...lol.

I hope there is some news. Maybe they will interview the sheriff?

That's why I DVR (tape) the shows that I want to watch. My husband hates any type of crime show and refuses to watch them!!

hey, y/w SewingDeb :) Aww, I know, hubby owns that remote as if it's a pacemaker, lol ... I have no option but to go for the t/script, later. Happy to do so.

Nice to see you in here..

What do you make of the silence from Sheriff's office and no reward - no tip line et al?
