There is no new news, according to what they've shown on NG so far. The only new thing is the tape is down and police aren't talking.

It was a TEASER! :banghead:

Sorry PSA. Now you can go to sleep....................

JMHO

I think due to the bloody scene we assumed the bludgeoning was the head area. That is probably why it bled so profusely.

IMO

Ocean

Nope, nope :snooty: read the second day in the news observer where they said head after the autopsy. LE's first statement said homicide due to blunt force trauma then the lady spokesperson verified the next day it was the head.

They said in the teaser something about LE looking at the husband, right? They better watch it or they'll get sued by JY next.

We do know at least as has been surmised by all of us anyway that Cassidy's footprints were in the bedroom and not all over the house. Safe to say there was a babygate. Dog downstairs, first thing Meredith noticed imo. Like to know the weapon and if there was blood anywhere else in the house in case she wasn't killed in bed or bedroom.

PSA, do you want me to call in sick for you?! I can pretend to be an emergency room doctor. "PSA is suffering from NGT syndrome. It's very serious and we have to watch her for a few days.":p

We inadvertantly learned a few things, if they were careful when they chose their words!

Cassidy only left bloody footprints in the bedroom, not all over the house. She didn't venture down the stairs - wonder why.

There was a weapon used acc to Larry K which cracked her skull open and damaged her brain and caused her to bleed a lot. They need to find the weapon because it has the killers prints on it.

Jason's cellphone would have had GPS on it so it would track where he was even if he wasn't using the phone.

Nothing of value taken from the home.

Plus, Michelle's mother is dogged with grief. I read at CTV where she is saying she is sure Jason did it.

I think they need to find the weapon before they can arrest him, right. He's not a flight risk evidently. And I think Kobalinski has heard the details of the autopsy about the skull cracked open. He said it so strongly, and I've watched him for a long time.

To Nancy: :croc: Scandi

Tire iron, lug wrench? Help me out here, I know what they look like but I'm talking about the stuff you use to change a tire. Wonder if they still have Jason's vehicle if that stuff is there or missing? Nope never changed a tire in my life.

Right Scandi. Kobalinski didn't know if she was raped or not. I have a feeling she wasn't.

Could be any of those things, maybe even something that was in the house. I would think they could tell by the wounds what type of object to look for .

Yeppers, looks like the people know more than the media is willing to give out at this point. 18 days is plenty of time for those tests, right? They put a push on them when there is a double murder like this.

I had a thought Strach. :D The case could be becoming quite a complicated one for investigators. They mentioned it was very complicated. Doesn't seem that way to us, right?

But think of this. The auto accident in '05 - Cassidy not in car - Michelle pregnant with 2nd child, a boy. Murder in '06 - Cassidy safe in home and not injured - Michelle pregnant with now 2nd child, a boy?

If investigators now think the accident is suspicious when they line it up with the new tragedy of Michelle's death and circumstances of it, they are going to have to get those ducks in a row too to prove premeditation, right. To prove there was no way he was going to raise and be responsible for a son. Both boy babies dead.

They said at CTV he was happy he was going to have a boy, but he might have just been saying that and it is what he really didn't want, just like Scott Peterson. Wasn't it a son Scott had no interest in having?

PS: If that is the case it would be 3 counts of murder one, right?

I am still having the most trouble with le stating this was not a random murder, and the neighborhood has no reason to be alarmed--they made that statement way to quick for there to be no follow up with any suspects going on 3 weeks later- imo

I still find it hard to believe that accident was an attempt on her life with him right there in the car with her- they went down and embankement- correct? he could have been killed just as easily- now had he sideswiped a large tree or cement retainer on HER side of the car and she wasnt hurt, I would think of the accident in a whole other light-

I think Cassidy was fluent and sharp enough to tell them right away what had happened. When they left the house that day they already knew what they were going to be investigating. It wasn't a stranger they would be putting under glass!

Listen to the 911 tape and you hear her mention Daddy right after Meredith asks her what happened! In fact, I'm wondering why no one has picked up on this. It is so major if this little girl could tell the story to the right investigator.

I agree with you, j2m ... unless he had a scuba tank on, this sounds suspect, although in this crazy world anything goes. Some people are good with cars - maybe he was able to drive it so it flipped on its passengerside? Bizarre!

Well, I'm off to snooze till noon. Night 'all.

I did listen, and maybe it is just my heart that doesnt want to believe he did it-- I am thinking a 2 year old would maybe just be talking about daddy because he wasnt there- and the tape seems to be cut out a bit, I would lean more towards him having it done more than anything- his appearance doesnt strike me as the kind that could do it- ( i think he looks like a weasel-- sneaky, but chicken)

eta-- i also think if he was smart enough (!) to try and pull off the murder, he
would have know how smart and articulate his daughter was, so he would have made sure she was no where to be found, so he would not be seen by her in the act

Just did, they're sooooo cute... it's lik feeding chickens - instead of stetched necks, I have a symphony of cupboard-love tails swirling in the air and an orchestra of ratty meeeeuws.

Heh, sweetie things, they are.

OK.... even though I lo out the lil green light stays on!

So long, fare well .... it's time to say goood-ni-ight .... OK, OK ... :silenced:
