Thanks for that insight Charlie. Did you buy that car? :P:

What I took from Loretta's site that you posted that I didn't really know is that he left the house while Michelle's friend was still there and then supposedly called her at 11pm from Vermont. I guess even getting there by that time would be by a hair.

I also think this guy has an agenda - don't know why I see JTF as a guy, but I do. Funny how different he is when a bit rattled.

Two things I read there have me thinking. One was if it was a hit, the kill would not have been one that left a lot of blood everywhere and the dog and child would likely have been killed as well.

That says it was an emotional kill, someone who targeted Michelle and killed her with great anger. I hate to bring in thoughts like this, but I read it there. A poster suggested maybe he was gay and his significant gay other did the killing. There is no way to even address a thought like that, except the one friend of his that was gay and made a statement said he was slow to get married but finally was resolved to do it and that Michelle knew from the go get that is what she wanted was marriage and a family.

Just food for thought. Scandi
I SO wanted that car (mind you there was no practical reason to have it) ! I had made up my mind not to go past a certain point and I didn't, therefore I am still able to type, and breathe for that matter ! It was definitely out of my price range when the gavel came down. So no...:banghead:

Now back on topic,

The claim that JY left while the friends were there, IMO, just elevates the potential that JY could have done this. Like you, I don't think he could have gotten so far away that it would be unlikely that he could not have returned in the night. So I'm not sure it is wise of the defending friends to advertise this piece of information.

I too think if it was a "hit" it most likely would have been much more efficient. Not sure I would agree about the child and dog being killed - really what could either say that would hold up in court ?

As for the gay angle, I just don't see a miffed lover as doing this. Can't explain why because I don't know why I say that. What I can imagine however is, if for instance JY himself was a bit confused about himself or in a deep conflict with himself - the most logical person to strike out at in anger would IMO be the wife that perhaps he really didn't want, maybe felt pressured into by family. In my short sighted mind this would also explain why baby Cassidy was not harmed and it also could explain why JY called Meredith to get to that house and get the baby controlled.

So yeah, you made me think - that is dangerous Ms. Scandi!

Hope you have a wonderful holiday luv!

I am intrigued that the Sheriff hasn't done
more press conferences requesting the public's
assistance. IMO, the reason for this is that JY is the
prime suspect and has not been excluded.

Should he be excluded, I would think the Sheriff
would have a PC to say just that and request the
public's help at that time and perhaps announce
a reward for any information that leads to the
arrest of the responsible party.

As for the poster on CTV (just the facts) who
purports to be a close family friend. I take
any info from them with a box of salt.

Hi Bee!

I am trying to remember if LE really comes out and states anyone is excluded before an arrest is made. From what I recall most LE spokesperson will only say they have no suspects at this time but haven't ruled anyone in or out.

The only time I can remember them commenting on a case was Shandra Levy when the press asked about Gary Condit and the PC stated they were not looking at Condit as a suspect in that case but ended it with "at this time".

I think it would be very risky for them to proclaim something they don't have to do and then be wrong when further investigation is done.

The same thing happened in Sarah Walker's case...ruled no one in or out......stopped all PCs and the case went silent then was ignited again when they arrested the suspect.

Hi raisin,
I tried to find something on this accident a week ago, but found nothing except that I remember it supposedly happened on May 29, 2005. That was the date I was working with, and it must have been from something reliable (ha) like one of the news links. Sorry, but right now finding it would be a little time-consuming.

Hope it helps anyway.
No need to look - not that important for sure !

I see you are a Buck Eye fan - were you lucky enough to buy a lottery ticket using the numbers from the final score ? Can you believe all those people bought a lottery ticket with the final score and won, I think, $5000 each ? Something good up with those Buck Eyes !

Have a good holiday !

Happy Thanksgiving Charlie.

Let me ask you something. Do we know proof positive if Michelle was found fully clothed? And have we come to the agreement that she was on the bed or on the floor?

Since we still dont know anything for sure, gosh darnit. What if someone had a crush on Michelle at work? What if someone that worked with her overheard her talking to another co-worker about Jason leaving on his trip?

Oops did I just hear something about "an arrest soon" that will be on CC today? I just caught a snippet of it and dont know if it was Michelle's case but did you hear it?

I do think that JY is most like guilty of this crime though.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family Ocean !

I think most of us here have concluded Michelle was on the bed but nothing really about her state of attire. There wasn't much in the 911 tape to suggest her attire so I don't know what else to say. We do know there was blood on the bed though from the 911 call. Someone else please feel free to correct me. I know this doesn't help you but it is all I know.

I would think it certainly would be possible that a co-worker could have been obsessed with Michelle. If so, hopefully some one at her work would have noticed and informed the police of such. I'm not sure it is a question of possibility but rather probability. Would she open the door to a co-worker after 11 pm at night ? Given the right story she might. So yeah, I'm sure it is possible.

Wow! So many great posts here, hope I don't miss any.
Taximom, brilliant idea imo that he could've left his phone on and in the room knowing LE would check that. Often the obvious we overlook. Also falls in line with the planning of an alibi if so.
For those that suggested a jack to me no that isn't it. I think tire iron is what I'm talking about because some people have been known to have them by the drivers seat in case of a car jacking etc. It is heavy and long, sharp flat edge on one end and a lug turner thing on the other.

I saw the post by JTF on ctv as well this morning and thought a few things were off but didn't want to pick it apart myself but you all have made very good points and I myself am not comfortable with the idea that they know 100% what they are talking about. For one thing the lawyer part doesn't fit with friends being able to talk to Jason and being interviewed by LE until after he had gotten a lawyer which doesn't mean anything other than the poster doesn't know what he's talking about. Does the babygate matter? No, I agree but looks worse to me because here we are with this big dog roaming the house during a violent attack on it's owner? Valuables missing? This has morphed too as well as the original story on the fax by posters who claim to know Jason on the ctv boards but yet hasn't changed in the latest media reports.
Gonna be back and forth as I do other stuff, not leaving. :)

Good Morning Ocean ;}

There was that statement in a link that she was on the bed, but I don't know if it was made with purpose, or accurate. The reason I say that is in the 911 call, Meredith states to the operator that there is blood on the bed. I found that odd. If Michelle's body was indeed on the bed, why would she comment on that. If however she found Michelle on the floor, then I could see why she would say that as it might appear unusual to her. Plus, if she was on the floor it makes sense that Cassidy would more than likely walk through it to get to her mom. If there were loots of little prints that tells me Cassidy was there right away while the blood was fresh, and there had to be enough of it to get on her feet to make all these prints. If Michelle had been on the bed the bedding would have absorbed a lot of the blood making it harder to track all over.

If she were killed between midnight and 6am as LE suggests then don't you think she would be in nightclothes? The other thing I'm thinking of is how Meredith said Michelle was in a position where she couldn't be turned over. If she were on the bed you would have the give of the matress and it might have been possible. If she landed on the floor on her stomach with one arm stretched out behind her and she was stiff, there would be no give and it would not be possible to turn her over.

Having just read at CTV that the friend who was at the house the evening before she died had two dogs with her and they were barking alot which gave way to the thought maybe they sensed someone outside stalking Michelle, what do you think about that? I haven't read this account of the friends visit. Also, at SM in the coments about Michelle's case, there is one that talks about the 15 year old who lived next door to Michelle and was disturbed in some way. Evidently he had a friend who lived in that trailer park close to the house. Do you think there is anything to this.

Gotta explore all the angles, right? LOL Heard anything more on CC?

Ocean, since you post on ctv was wondering if you remember early on there was a poster there who said Michele was found naked so LE originally thought it was a sexual assault? That poster claimed to know the Youngs or it may have been the EnchantedOaks poster who said that who was from the area. Never heard it from anyone else and there's nothing definite that I've seen in the reports in the media ruling it in or out from the autopsy. Think someone on one of the shows speculated that they'd not have the forensics on that back so soon and referred to the autopsy as preliminary results. I remember thinking at the time the poster said this that it was staged to look that way as could also be the case with a robbery. Now if dna is found that's a whole nother story. Also possible that the perp didn't accomplish the intended crime because she fought, the dog, etc.

We just don't know but I agree LE and Michele's family's silence is deafening. I hope you're right about what you heard Ocean.

Great point Scandi, why would Meredith say there was blood on the bed? As for the neighbor and his friend, yes I do believe there is plenty about that to look into if the info I've seen from posters early on in this case were correct. He watched their dog sometimes, had a friend from the trailer park (their term) a fort in the woods, behavior problems that he was put out of several schools. Myself I wondered about the friend in the trailer and just a few days ago when it was reported that LE was checking the trailer area they asked someone had they ever been in the Young's house? Was it the friend of the neighbor? Plenty there to look at. What about that alarm Greta was talking about, was it broken?

As Steven Wright likes to joke: I bought a million lottery tickets and I won a dollar.

Shoot, I wish I'd thought of buying a lottery ticket with those numbers! That's as unreal to me as the "911" lottery numbers that came out on 9/11.

I'm so proud of our team. But that's another topic, eh?

I'm thinking of all the family members in this case this Thanksgiving. It makes me so sad thinking about little Cassidy, especially during holidays. You can tell she was mommy's sweetheart in all the pictures I've seen. I hope they at least can be thankful that Cassidy is still alive.

Hello Tia - w/come to W/S :)

Yes, that's true enough, eh ? I don't buy the 'real facts' at all, lol!

We have heaps of fun in here - aside from gritting teeth trying to wrench the smallest tidbit of info: some of the thoughts, ideas, theories and plain logic that other posters present just keep us hanging on, lol!

Hi all: No Nancy Grace tonight? No Greta? .... nothing??? Zero? Hmmmm...

Hi Taximom!! What a warm wonderful message :blowkiss:

Well, from me here to all fellow posters: here's hoping your Thanksgiving is filled with love, unity, peace - and good times with family! Will be thinking of you - save a slice of Turkey for me!

Scandi

Hi Scandi - yes I agree with you and posted as much twice, recently: I feel Michelle was on the floor, face down ... especially with the bloody footprints. The pool of blood would have seeped into the bedclothes and mattress, too.

If Cassie had repeatedly climbed up and onto, then off the bed, then she'd have been covered in blood and there may very well have been bloody finger prints and smears on the walls, etc.

This is of course, speculation, as nothing has been released yet.

As for CC - gee, I so agree with others, esp: Pack_Dog: this is hearsay and the same post is being cut and pasted across the web. This CC is saying, along with Just the Facts (at CTV) that the media and LE have 'blown this out of proportion'. It's by an anonymous poster transferring what THAT person WANTS us to believe. It's unsubstantiated, imo. Why are the media not onto this?

Well, LOL.... I feel it's all hogwash, as we've been given very little from the press and on TV (as I said yesterday: ain't THAT the truth, especially with Nancy Grace's 'teaser' of a show, lol!). We've not heard a dickie-bird from LE since the public were asked if they'd seen a vehicle between midnight and 6 am.

I've read all of those posts and can (literally) 'hear'/hear Jackie and Lee Peterson all over again.

Hope you have awonderful T/giving. Are you going to be around? Travelling? Keep warm, hon :)

After just skimming the board over there two things that jumped out at me that are imo misinformation, being repeated inaccurately or whatever is the friend with the dogs who kept barking at something out in the yard was not at Michele's house on the day she was killed according to the original post, it was a few days before possibly even a week from what I remember.

Another poster has said something about Michele not being killed in the room she was attacked in. Now where did that come from? :waitasec:

So like me, you were relying on our good friends here to pipe up with some news? at least i didn't wait up all night as you did. i was hoping to catch something on awakening. poor you. we now know to neither stay up nor awaken early for either NG or GVS shows, huh?

this case has me pinned to the wall. i so hope Michelle Young gets justice - and soon! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

p.s. ja. i'm stuck with CNN International, too. YAWN.

p.p.ps. and you can stuff Larry Walking Dead, as far as information goes. :bang:
