nan ... I *think* the cell phone owner has to have the phone ON. If JY called Meredith from his mobile - then they're be able to track nearest tower. IF ... he kept it off and called from a landline say from the alleged business meeting offices ... then they may be stumped. However, I feel that may add to a circumstantial case - they'd check bak on previous trips to determine if he regularly switched off his mobile phone.

I am also convinced Meredith's phone would have been tracked - to validate her testimony. Now ..... IF ..... Jason didn't call her .... hoo-boy .... But then, I somehow doubt it ...

right again Polk....i kinda lean towards him turning the phone off, right after he made the 11 pm phone call...he may have kept it off till he got to his "business meeting"

Agreed, except he has to get his credit card back in the morning. They don't actually make the charge against it until you check out, to make sure nothing is stolen from the room. At least that has been my experience.

Excellent thoughts and it sure could be possible ~ as long as no one saw him leaving the motel, or returning to it, and he'd have to turn off the cell phone, make sure he didn't get a speeding ticket, stop for gas, etc.

yes, he would...that's a lot of driving; seems he'd have to stop for gas, at some point..............IF he's Michelle's killer

there's a chance he might not have needed gas, though...until he was getting ready to actually leave the 'business' area & headed to Brevard....hmmm

Hi close - back for 2 secs; thanks for your posts ... I read elsewhere (can't remember here, there or where) about Meredith - the poster felt it was strange for Meredith to use the words "did your mommy fall". The inclination was to create an assumption and not a bad suggestion.

This may be true in adult cases - although I hardly think Meredith would say to her beloved baby niece ... "the horrific obvious". Poor baby would have had nightmares - and aside from that - not exactly an image anyone would want a little jelly-tot to consider as to why her mommy wasn't getting up.

I do a lot of traveling too and you do not have to leave a credit card. you give it at the beginning before you get a key to your room. they then charge you for incidentals without you even having to sign.

Great take Annie on no tip line. I would say this is most unusual to have no reward or tip line. Like someone said, I think they are just polishing their case.

This is not meant to bash a victim, and Meredith is a victim here. Just covering all angles. She was younger, spent time at the house taking care of baby, runing errands, etc, and am wondering if maybe she was involved in any way. I read that possibility at CTV and poo-pooed it. But if there was an accomplice,who would that have been?

I'm not so sure there was an accomplice who did the killing, maybe only to find the body, and the Sheriff said persons in error or we heard it wrong. If Cassidy's first word to Meredith after she first asked Cassidy what happened was 'Daddy . .' maybe he did it himself. Also did you notice that after Meredith heard Cassidy say this so plainly, she asked her again what happened, did her mommy fall, etc. I caught that right away and thought it was very suspicious, as though to illicit a new comment from Cassidy and nullify the first comment she made. Anyone else catch that?

I have a hard time with her word fluke. If she had been called by Josh to go over to the house to pick up something I wouldn't call that being there by fluke. That would be going there for a specific purpose.

If this were the case, Her trauma at the scene would be genuine as it would be the first time she saw her saister dead. Aww, I could be all wet here. Maybe we'll have a break in the case today. Guess this gal's watching NG tonight whether or not she wants to. :doh: Scandi

IF there was an accomplice, i can't imagine it being Meredith....that phone call was not 'acting' imo.....

BUT....... it IS possible JY could have met up w/some 'shady' characters on the road, somewhere along the line, prior to this happening....

i just find nothing at all suspicious about the 911 call/Meredith....

right....Meredith was extremely panicked IMO, but held up I think, primarily for Cassidy....just listening to that call, & from looking at her picture, i bet she's a really cool, caring person.....that's just how it seemed while she was talking to Cassidy.....this has got to be the worst thing that's EVER happened to Meredith, bless her heart.....

Zackly... D'you know, I am sure LE are feeling for Michelle's family (naturally...). I think these guys totally resent such senseless murders - and of course they want results and closures to help heal the pain. This Thanksgiving is going to be very difficult for Michelle's family - and it's but days away. Perhaps God will bring closure of some sort shortly before Thanksgiving so that - despite the occasion being a sombre one - there may be 'just something' for Michelle's family to be thankful for: that being the results of an accumulation of dots.

Let's all give a minutes silence when we can, at some stage to day, or even when lurkers, newbies, oldies, regulars, rivals or random members read this post: For Michelle and her Angel Baby and for little Cassie - that sweet little voice we've heard so many times on an emergncy tape ... may her footprints build a stairway to heaven for her mom and baby brother to keep shining on. For Michelle's family, too - and all broken hearts.... Thanks are given for their life...

Thanks Close, I think it is only intelligent to consider everything and of course family members are the first in that respect.

But I do have a new gut feeling a brewin' LOL I'm thinking that with regards to Jason we could have an Entwhistle kind of an unfaithfulness - posters from other boards are saying we won't believe what we are going to learn about him! So if there is another person in his life, so to speak, could that person be an accomplice if what Sheriff Harrison said about 'persons' was meant to be stated?

I wonder why these successful, energetic to-be moms have husbands who search out someone else? It is so hard to understand. I remember the day I learned my boss was having sex with the secy and his wife was about to deliver their second child. I almost quit. It worked out fine and they are happy now. A woman gains weight during pregnancy, they all do and aren't as attractive sexually. So why can't they wait till its all done and she's back to her old self again! :banghead: me

Thanks scandi! I agree - good to hear and take on board all that's doing the rounds. Sometimes its utter hogwash; other times? No smoke without fire. Hmmph. Y'know ... the above may or may not be true, but as true as the Heavens, my waters tell me this all along - JY has a secret history. (Or history-ette.) And I've felt guilty every time I've put that in print!

So Jason & 'Miranda' are still that item to me ... for now. They're locked in with a mega attorney. Ag! Maybe not. We'll just have to see!

...Media are lying, LE are useless, they're focused on JY fron getgo, haven't looked at homeless/trailker folk, a cult, the "Lee&Jackiespeak" about a loving, happy, truly devoted couple; their son is a good, nice kid, Maine for Christmas, Paris for New Years, Francois, Pascual, cobbled stones of Brussells, condo in Sacramento, travelin salesman, met through a mutual work colleague .... moved out of town and in with family miles away ...
