Scandi,

You crack me up sometimes !

I ask you, would you think it was possible for a 5' 6" kid weighing 110 to 115 lbs would be able to take on a 5' 10" woman of reasonable health and weighing close to 50 lbs more than him and bludgeon her to death while she was fully awake?

Limp wrist or not - it wouldn't take much to incapacitate a victim asleep in their bed with just one blow, or at least render them into a stupor and unable to function normally.

LOL This reminds me of when I was about 8 yrs. old. I didn't have any brothers at that time so I made my uncles who were 5 and 6 years older miserable. I tagged along and wanted to play football or baseball with them and they just hated it because my sweet granddaddy would make them play with me. :)

So they let me be the catcher one day...boy I thought I was big stuff...my oldest uncle was up to bat before I know it he steps way back and swings striking me right in the back of the head laying me out cold! My granddaddy had been sitting on the porch and saw it all. He said it was no accident! lol Boy he came running and he was mad! I was really shook up and bawling just like the little girl I was lol but ok ...they did get me check out at the hospital. But my oldest uncle? Oh man he got the whipping of his life. Hee-Hee...seeing that was almost worth getting hit. They both picked on me constantly.

Even a small person can incapacitate someone by striking them. It is never a fair fight.. even one blow can leave the person dazed only able to try to clumsily protect themselves and in the end most times than not the victim has no chance of overcoming such repeated brutal inflictions.

Geragos had to file a motion in court as I recall to get it back because the parents were complaining about making the payments on it. I don't think they got it back until during the trial actually. That is my point I think - they kept that truck forever and Scotty was definitely their main suspect - it took a judge to get it back.

No reason to keep that vehicle if the owner is not a suspect - there just is no legal reason to hold it otherwise. I could see it if the crime occurred in the vehicle, but said vehicle was supposed to have been located in another state at the time of this crime.

I agree Charlie unless they are trying to smoke him out. I am sure they think he is the one so they may want him to think there is something there that has been found incriminating to him.

What I cant understand is if he is innocent you would think his lawyer would be right down at the courthouse demanding to have the truck back but maybe he thinks if there is nothing there LE look foolish by keeping the truck so long.

I want to know what vehicle he was in when he returned and went to visit Michelle's graveside.

Sheesh you would think the media could at least track that part down.

Despite the protests of JTF - the press has been strangely silent on this case IMO. I think that has to do with a couple of things, the Sheriff's Dept is saying nothing and I don't think the City of Raleigh and possibly the local press have any desire to see or have a debacle comparable to Durham. The other thing is you don't have a bunch of vocal lawyers out in the public spewing information or inuendo. Politics seem to be non-existent so outside of a few claims from the friends - there is not much to raise a rucus over.

I don't know, sometimes the press amazes me - they sometimes actually have some morals and can keep things that are very inflamatory out of the headlines. We have seen that done on a recent west coast high profile case. Be patient, the information will come. I would rather have this silence than to have the wrong person brought in or no person. I rather suspect Sheriff D.W. will see this through in a most appropriate manner.

Well...I finally caught up so here's my :twocents:

I don't believe a hit man is involved. First of all, I agree with others, a professional hit usually involves a .22. And how would JY even go about hiring someone like this - not banking on him having any connections with the underworld.

On the otherhand, if he hired some 2 bit criminal - he's got to worry about this guy yapping to others and he'd risk having someone implicate him.

Furthermore, it gets more complicated with a hired hit professional or not. Payment, bank records, and the risk of blackmail.

Can't be the nearby kids. We've been told no forced entry. So if Michelle let the kid(s) in, how did she get murdered in her bed? You'd think she'd be in another part of the house.

I'm back to JY. An amateur act of murder. He probably snuck up on her while she was sleeping and bashed her head repeatedly to make sure she was dead.

Hi Charlie, I told her to go ahead and post it as it is a viable part of the investigation. I'm gonna see a smile walk right across that face of yours Charlie! Now I think I have a grip on this murder. I just wonder why it is taking LE so darned long to act!

Gotta be able to prove it luv. No smile here, perhaps anger which of course is a wasted emotion but can't be helped...if true.

I don't think that would be a problem, as any forensic audiology tech could seperate everything out of that tape. I see it done all the time in my forensic shows, so it must be a viable science.

I would be very surprised if it has not been undertaken by LE.

I think it's just a couple of seconds where someone tried to isolate Cassidy speaking. I can't make anything out of it.
