Have checked the local tv stations and the paper. Nothing new posted on those sites folks. Still quiet for today anyway.

Good morning, charlie (and all)...

Aww... Please would someone post me this link? Lol, I feel like Orphan-Annie now - got to the breakfast table ... nothing left! :(

Jilly, agreed: think most of us ruled out a hitman.

Geragos had to file a motion in court as I recall to get it back because the parents were complaining about making the payments on it. I don't think they got it back until during the trial actually. That is my point I think - they kept that truck forever and Scotty was definitely their main suspect - it took a judge to get it back.

No reason to keep that vehicle if the owner is not a suspect - there just is no legal reason to hold it otherwise. I could see it if the crime occured in the vehicle, but said vehicle was supposed to have been located in another state at the time of this crime.

I so agree with you charlie - the vehicle-retention is very telling.

Also - perhaps there is (cctv, witness, or in-vehicle) that he had the car washed en route back to the hotel? Wild card; just a thought.

Aside from the fibre etc possibilities... Maybe tire tracks in the vicinity?

Pollen, mud, sand, foilage samples?
Mileage?
Receipts from service stores?

What I cant understand is if he is innocent you would think his lawyer would be right down at the courthouse demanding to have the truck back but maybe he thinks if there is nothing there LE look foolish by keeping the truck so long.

I want to know what vehicle he was in when he returned and went to visit Michelle's graveside.

Sheesh you would think the media could at least track that part down.

IMO

Ocean

Hi Ocean.

Maybe he travelled with his family's car back to Raleigh and to the graveside and also to the funeral. He'd have had company, I am supposing, too. Also, I'm envisaging EITHER two separate wakes after the funeral - or JY did not call by MY's home.

I still sense a strong, tense distance between both families. So thick, that perhaps JY is aware of this and is staying away so as not to deal with it?

Where to begin? :waitasec:
Have to comment on the court order because imo way too much is being made of this in the form of LE suspected Jason right away and maybe they did but truth is had they not have done it that way and LE found other evidence as of yet unknown to them it may have been disallowed at trial. Other cases I'm sure have made this a sop for this dept. They needed Jason's dna and fingerprints anyway.

We simply have no facts to determine if an outsider or neighbor did this. Were the doors locked to begin with? You wouldn't think a stranger would lock them on his way out either. No forced entry means simply that. Le may also be considering that Michele let them in.

Hello strach.

Re: court-order.

Sorry if this sounds really dumb, but wouldn't it be the same (i.e.:) if a perp turns himself in, there there would be no need to execute a SW? So - if JY had complied immediately, why issue the court ordered probable cause? Instead his step father's words on arrival in Raleigh was a rather abrupt 'statement' that JY would be getting himself serious lawyers.

Just my take. The press release to the effect : "Husband ordered to give submit DNA samples" - was issued a couple of days later. My initial gut instinct is that, with lawyers, JY commenced a non-co-operative stance from the get-go.

Apropros the insider-rumours, I don't deny some of these facts may indeed be true. It's the 'justification that makes it all seem normal' attached to posted rumours that make me all the more suspicious. Overkill on WHY which often massages the ACTION into a murky background...

Looks like it's you and me sitting at this breakfast table of crumbs, PSA! :waitasec:

Whatever that link was I hope it brings swift justice to this case.

Hey, Hi!!

W/c bak, Taximom. Interesting stuff, that's been posted, eh?

Nice to 'see' you, lol...

No, I haven't seen the link, either. But basically on what we have, what the 'atmosphere' is telling me, here's my opinion:

If it walks like a Scott, talks like a Scott and looks like a Scott ....

Lol: (Quack Quack...) Quackety-Quack.

So? Did Black Friday put your bank balance in The Red?

Some of the things I cannot BEAR about major holidays: massive, frenetic crowds, no parking, impatient people, loads of shopping bags (and very little change, lol...). There is abso, definito, NO-WAY I'd camp outside a store en-masse to buy something.

Ag! I have a meeting to attend in town later ... best get me-self started and prepared.

.... no link :( :( :( ....

Maybe someone will whisper in our ears about that mysterious link, PSA. I know I'd do the same!

Nope, not a big shopper here on holidays or otherwise. It's not worth the stress.

So, I just read about the possibility that Debbie Hawk has been found (buried). Her husband has been HIGHLY suspected by most people in her disappearance but never arrested in the crime. For over a year now. Guess who lives with him to this day?

His children. Yep. So this could also be going on with JY too. Poor Cassidy.

Hawk Links here:

PSA, if you are half as prepared for that meeting as you are here....you will have no problems! Have fun!

Here's a thought I had about the garage door/ladder scenario.

Maybe he switched the garage door over to manual to avoid waking anyone late at night when (ok, IF) he came back later at night to kill her.

We have to use a ladder to reach the chain on our garage door to switch it over to manual. Once it's on manual we raise it by hand, and can do it as quietly (I guess, never tried that but...) as needed to slip in unnoticed. I'm assuming there is a door in the garage to the house, of course.

This way he would have hidden his car from the public view and not alerted Michelle that he was home.

Was their driveway gravel? Would Michelle have heard tires crunching on that from her bedroom window? I lost the layout link so I can't remember where bedrooms were in relation to the garage and the front of the house. Is it a two-car garage?

What do you guys think?

Hi Taximom,

Good thinking. As I remember the driveway was paved and looked like concrete. It had a little lip on the edge I remember. But it makes sense to me.

I think all the bedrooms are upstairs. The plan I saw didn't deliniate the rooms themselves.

Off for Ciggies and an ice cream cone! Back in a shake.

i was fixin to get on here with this face

then i thought i'll search around for this sound file......found it...THEN i went over to misfitting where someone said you can hear Cassidy saying "Daddy did it" & i found it!!!...(on the original 911 call).....heck, i feel so stupid now, as MANY times as i had listened to that tape over & over & over, i always failed to try to listen hard for anything in the background, once the 911 dispatcher starts calling the Sheriff's Dept, but it's THERE...Cassidy says "Daddy did it"..... it's at the end of the tape where the dispatcher is dialing the Sheriff's Dept...you can hear the line ringing, & Cassidy says something & Meredith says "ok"....THEN that's when Cassedy says "Daddy did it" & Meredith says "ok" again........it's there....

so that's twice she says the word Daddy...once from the beginning when Meredith asks her "Do you know what happened to Mommy?".....that's the "Daddy b*****??"....but that child says "Daddy did it" at the end of the tape ......

came home from my Daddy's & immediately started watching Dateline....went right on to sleep when it was over, then for some reason, i woke up not quite an hour ago...(kinda weird; my computer clock said 12 midnite, straight up)...anyway, got up, got a glass of tea & a cig & thought i'd check out the board here........

it's what so many of us have thought from the beginning....Cassidy put LE on JY's trail, from the get-go......i do believe that she woke up & saw a portion of this murder in progress.......

  • #916
LE's gonna nail his aaaaaass, i just know it.....there has to be something he missed...something he forgot about with his timeline...something he left behind or dropped....something!

  • #917
here's the enhanced version of what Cassidy says, but if you go & listen to the original 911 call, it's there ....

oops i see that someone took their link off due to it being "case sensitive"...UGH....

i'm not sure what to think TM...for the longest i really thought that he walked up to the house...maybe parked his car way up behind the house on a road near where the trailer homes are, but THEN we hear this rumor about someone possibly seeing his car "in the driveway, when it wasn't suppose to be there".........really hard to say what he did....i GUESS it's possible that he simply DID drive back up the house...used his key, & walked right in, went straight upstairs & beat Michelle to death.....i just don't knoooooooow, ugh....

Hello close :blowkiss: ... Oh that's just so sad to imagine, close. :(

Y'know, I also thought (earlier) about the boo-boos. Coulkd Cassie have been referring to her mommy's breasts? Maybe ... ugh ... there were chronic wounds to her chest, which Meredith may not have spotted as Michelle might have been face down.

Earlier I wonderered (and reminded us of Mrs Porco who lived through a severe bludgeoning) if MY might have tried to identify the killer with her wet f/prints? Possible or impossible?

Going to pm yah, close ... :)

Thanks for the link, close.

How was the dateline show on M Peterson? I missed it and forgot to tape it. :( I just wondered if there was anything new. Did you watch the "Staircase" series about that case? (Soooo O/T!) PM me if you'd like.
