ag! See, half in the shower and half out of the shower ....

Maybe Meredith found the dog secured in another room on arrival and he calmed down once let out? Dogs sense things -- he (assuming Humphrey the dog is male...) may have sensed the deathly silence and known Cassie was alone - so he trumpeted on until help arrived.

Elephants and dolphins are particularly sensitive to death... animals are more in tune that we may realise (OKKKayy ... won't do another Animal Planet post as before...) :p

Thanks for the link, close.

How was the dateline show on M Peterson? I missed it and forgot to tape it. :( I just wondered if there was anything new. Did you watch the "Staircase" series about that case? (Soooo O/T!) PM me if you'd like.

i enjoyed the show...i knew all of it already, but still enjoyed watching it...it was a great show for someone that didn't know anything about the case...wrapped it all up nicely in 2 hours.....actually i THINK i had seen it before, but i could be wrong...thanks for turning me on to it....i told my stepmama about it, & she was planning on watching it also...she couldn't remember the case....

hmmmmm, not sure about the staircase series???

well, i feel a new surge of 'energy' now...whether no one else hears "Daddy did it" or not, on the 911 tape, it's there & IMO JY killed Michelle...there's no "IF" for me now.....i just KNEW that baby was trying so hard to be helpful ...to tell what she saw, jabbering away during that call....i also KNEW (well, didn't KNOW, but felt) LE zoomed in on that tape .... anyone with some common sense would have zero'd in on that tape from the beginning.....it stands to reason that Meredith told LE, in more detail what all Cassidy was saying....now if LE can get the evidence, & i feel they will, there WILL be justice for Michelle.....

gosh, i hope i'm not 'jumpin the gun' here, but i know what i heard just now on that tape...(original 911 tape)

hey, i might have really lousy eyesight, but my hearing is the best sense i have...

With ya all the way and back again, close: we have pages of this dicussion in all 3 threads. The 'beeding' was clear -- also --- little Cassie's request for a washcloth was clear to many...

And the words "boo-boos beeding everywhere"

I brought charlie's post back: maybe we should add what LE said - to our deductions re Cassie and the tape? Those are our significant 'clues' ... and in MOST opinions, lol:

Not a random crime
Community has nothing to fear
No forced entry
Blunt force injuries
Bloodiest crime scene yet witnessed by one officer
Looking for any witness who may have spotted a vehicle in the area between midnight and 6 am

-----------------------------

Well, one thing is certain from the above.

As it's turned out thus far, the community have NOT have anything to fear - no other bloody murders there since? With nothing allegedly stolen (and rumours of 'something' missing), I am that much more convinced LE understand the plot...

Ramblin on again. Where's that darn sock, lol... :D

It's probably the last thing I should do before heading off the bed, but I'm going to listen to the "original" 911 tape again. It's so chillingly horrific.:(

Here's the link to the original 911 tape we all listened to back in Pt 1 or Pt 2 in case you want to listen for yourself again:

Want to thank Taximom and Scandi for thinking of me. :blowkiss:
Couldn't get my pm through. Thanks for posting the tape Close. I definitely hear daddy very clearly and can say yeah it's a good bet she's saying did it. Meredith's voice I can't make out at all but is noticeably louder and maybe interfering with me hearing Cassidy.

lol,,,,yes we discussed the 911 tape for pages & pages & pages....& like i've said before, i'm almost embarrassed to say how many times i played that tape, but i can't believe i didn't pay MORE attention to the end of it, where the dispatcher is dialing the Sheriff's dept.... :banghead:

obviously i KNOW LE can't rely 100% on that tape...completely understandable, but it got them on his trail from the start, IMO....course they looked at others, got fingerprints, etc....they HAD to to that; it only makes sense...they couldn't put all their eggs in the 911 basket, so to speak.....i applaud Raleigh LE....keeping quiet, taking their time, gathering evidence...we'll see an arrest this week...i just feel it in my bones now.....

(i said that last week too, ugh)

If it helps anyone, Cassidy seems to say "daddy did it" at approximately 5 minutes into that 911 tape.

I have to say I'd like to hear a super-enhanced version before I go off the fence on this part. I did hear the "daddy" and "daddy b(l)eeding" way back, but this one isn't clear enough for me. And I'm a JDI gal!

Also, Meredith does say Michelle is face down on her stomach and twisted. I wonder if Michelle instinctively tried to protect her unborn baby and perhaps her arms/hands and maybe legs were in a protective position around her stomach. Either that or it was just the fetal position (unrelated to the unborn little boy).

Your welcome, strach!

yes TM...make sure you listen really close to the part where the dispatcher is ringing up the sheriff's dept...something is said & Meredith says "ok",THEN Cassidy says "Daddy did it" & Meredith says "ok" again.....

poor Meredith...i'd like to give her a big hug...trying to take all the scene in, deal with Cassidy, talking to the dispatcher....i can only imagine...

Me too guys. When I first heard the clarity and normal voice tones in the tape I couldn't move for a minute and felt so sad. I wrote to a friend , "On the Cassidy2 tape, near the end right before while the operator is trying to connect her to the sheriff, there is a magic window of silence, and in the background I hear this soft little voice simply saying Daddy did it. I just sat here hearing that. I am sure they will play that in court. Imagine the silence in that room except for her little voice, like an extension of her mother reaching out from the grave! Goosebumps.

Tonight for the first time I heard her ask for a washcloth. That poor baby had to be just covered with sticky dry blood.

I doubt his friends will be back since the word is out now. I am very bothered by Cassie being with his family and not Michelle's. There is nothing they can do to sway her or change what she thinks now, because it is of record on a 911 tape, right?

We owe Sami a big vote of thanks for all her hard work behind the scenes. What makes me feel so good, like Taximom said to me, we got it! We pretty much hade the whole scenario pegged, and all we need now are the finer details, timeline, etc. Wouldn't you think LE hasa had plenty of time to polish this case?

I think the evidence is going to be so strong with all that we know that he might cop a plea for life instead of the DP. They've got him by the ba**s, so I wish they'd get the show on the road. Instead of being in black and white with shades of grey, all I see are wild crazy colors and shapes with clear edges.

One of the things that we don't know is that the initial (or only) blunt trauma first occurred in the bedroom, right? This could have started anywhere in the home and ended up in the bedroom, if what Meredith says is right about there being blood all over the house.

I'm sure this has already been discussed! lol Just smack me if need be for re-hashing a point!:D

PSA, I might need to borrow that sock. :blushing:

  • #933
Close, add to that scenario, 'and looking down at her dead sister cold and stiff from rigormortis.'

Such a picture of dispicable horror that is. Neither Meredith or Cassidy will ever forget it. It might soften with Cassidy, hopefully, but Meredith will be a changed woman for life. It will be in a good way I think. She will take something from this tragedy and turn it for a better look at life.

Scandi, what part am I missing? I got the pm's with the letters and I listened to the 5 second clip close posted here. Has the second tape been released? Also wanted to know about the half hour away motel Jason stayed at? I do know at SP's trial LE had to wait a long time on some phone records. Getting all that together will take time.

  • #935
I'm with you on all of the above, scandi ... and ...

Thanks sami - thanks *EVERYONE* ...

I think of you, strach... :blushing:

I noticed that the Jasonites have left CTV (dashed over there earlier to see if there were more rumours ;) ...) One poster came in as a newbie, in LE, and within nano-seconds was JTF's official supporter and Joint Operations Chief of Staff spokesperson. Ag! Maybe I'm just too cynical in my old age... Hmmmm

Must splash the Dior and dash out the Door ... bye all.. :D

CYA later.

lol @They've got him y the ba**s, so I wish they'd get the show on the road.

i'm with ya Scandi....i want to see this 🤬🤬🤬 get his day in court...i think LE already has his timeline down...it's like raisin said the other day...maybe LE is still waiting for some last minute forensics to come back....maybe they're still waiting on more info from the home computer hard drive.....it could be a number of details they want 'in stone' before they cuff him......they'll have to tell a 'story' in court & they don't want anything left 'out there' for reasonable doubt......makes sense...i thought the 'story' that Rick Distaso told at the end of the SP trial was brilliant...he put all the pieces right in place for the jury....heck, & they didn't even have what you'd call a 'crime scene' !

  • #939
We can definitely rule out a hitman. Therefore imo LE will be able to place him there wherever the hotel, meeting or anything else was.
