Hi... just fed the 8 rescued felines outside; mom, dad and 2 litters ... sorry...

We don't get G of NG either; from what I picked up JY is not a suspect and ther are ongoing investigations confirmed. Although LE will never name a suspect unless or until a warrant of arrest has been issued ... they did not also say "he is not a POI" ... again, it's what LE haven't said.

Scott breezed around at will for 4 months - and were almost on the verge of arresting him - when Laci and Conner returned to shore.

Been reading along as usual- dial up keeps kicking me off line, so I read as a "guest"! You all are great minds at work here!

Anyway, PSA, you don't think we are going to be reading this for 3 more months do you? (re: SP and his 4 month hiatus?)

I am still inclined to believe the perp was JY- IMO.

Scandi's notes on Greta's show last night:

Nothing new really to report from that spot on Greta. The only new thing I heard is that Jason is going back and forth between Bravard and Raleigh. The house sitting just like it was when investigators left. Only a few family friends have gone in.

Also, the reason that LE canvassed the neighborhood plus the area of the trailer park was to see if anyone had seen or heard anything that early morning.

Thanks. I was thinking about Ted Bundy. He entered homes quietly, killed women and didn't wake anyone in the house.

About Jason and the media being very quiet, I'm pretty sure he knows that there are discussions about him. That would give him justification to ask the LE not to leak a word to the public. In a way, the discussions at CTV surprise me. Crime forums are a very small part of the internet yet so many people "in the know" are posting. Something about that seems to defeat the odds ... but I don't have any handy stats to say why.

I think JY better enjoy the days of freedom that he has now, and enjoy the time with his precious little girl too. I imagine he's quite befuddled at the media coverage this case got (initially anyway). So many cases like this go unnoticed.

Grroooaaan. I Hope not 3 months - but then I am being selfish for the addiction we have all come to rely on daily, here. WE want news? God! Michelle's family deserve closure ... they come first and I know every poster here acknowledges that and is supporting Linda, Meredith, Cassie: 3 generations that have lost a dynamic and sparkling, essential link that bonds all three of them. And Michelle's father, of course.

To imagine their pain and to KNOW JY is purposefully staying away is heinous. In so doing he's illuminated the fact he had zilch feeling for them and USED Meredith the day before he ran.

But I hope we hear soon, Boyz.... I have a project that's going to keep me away from circa this weekend, an overseas trip soon and .... well ... we'll see.

You know what might be KARMA? That the real perp, whomsoever that may be (ehem), is arrested or brought in and held for at LEAST 72 hours, on ... say Christmas Eve...

The more they 'confirm' that JY isn't a suspect, the more he will relax. The more he relaxes, the more surprised he will be on arrest. The more surprised he is when arrested, the more likely he'll start babbling like a brook on a quiet sunny day.

A business trip. He left circa 9:00 pm... Thursday evening, 2nd Nov.

He was in the car and had just arrived at his parents circa 2 - 3 pm Fri 3rd.

Raleigh, Brevard and VA form, as Taxi (I think) first pointed ut to me, a triangle in terms of distance, so "swinging by" his parents as the Jasonites had us believe, does not make sense... The Jasonites also claim he was planning on spending Saturday night there.

Was this an addendum because, as Strach rightly brought up, the AMOUNT of clothes he may have taken for ONE business trip were, say .... just a wardrobe too much???

Makes yah think! Maybe the bus trip wasn't official; i.e: a cold call as per a pre-arranged visit?

Basically, the man is a total CAD, IMO!

And I KEEP THINKING of Perry March's kids, Sammy and Tzippy ... they spent many years with their father - they HAD to have been brainwashed and now are at an age when the real affects may smother their rationale. It's CRUEL to do this to kids! To use them as missiles of pain! Ugh ...

And for Cassie, I trust she will be in the arms of Linda and Meredith - where BALANCE as opposed to HATRED, DENIAL and BRAINWASHING are not part of the daily menu!

It's strange, the mention of people being afraid to talk. Are they afraid of... LE? Afraid to " get involved" ? Afraid of JY? He doesn't look very intimidating to me. Does someone know something and they are scared to tell it (AFRAID) ? Just the statement, they're afraid. Maybe they think the killer will come after them... I don't know. I do know that if Michelle were my friend, and I knew something I felt may help in any way with this case, no one could keep my mouth shut.

I've had the evening and much of this early morning to think about this and do have a few thoughts about the afraid comment:

1. It may not necessarily be fear per say but more not wanting to be involved due to the potential that it will go to court at some point. I think perhaps some people are entirely intimidated by the prospect of appearing in a court.

2. The way court cases are now, defense approaches are always to smear or discredit a witness, someone with even a bit of a smudge might realize it may well become public and turned into a full dump truck of dirt by the time a lawyer is done with them. The public has a tendancy to do this as well i.e. best example Ms. Frey - was any degrading word NOT used in reference to her?

In this case it is obvious that some of the Young's friends would suffer greatly at the hands of a lawyer defending a client for murder (speaking of the gay friends). they may have employers or relatives that do not know and I have little doubt it would come out at a trial.

3. We do know a lawyer lives in the area of the Youngs home (recall Hammer mentioned speaking to him and the lawyer said "there's no jack the ripper in this case"). Then you have CTV removing any an all posts about a juvenille that lives in the neighborhood - while CTV posters can at times be incredibly vicious - did that warrant the removal of ALL posts and notice of banning at just the mention of the name (who is he - Lord Voldemort ?). Something motivated CTV to take the action they took IMO.

Just a few thoughts, as usual I am long winded.

No major news. .... Well, apart from the fact we've solved the case for RPD, increased their team and ... are about to redecorate their precinct...

While reading the portion of the thread about the 911 call and what you all heard in the tape, it really does "sound" as though that lovely little tot was talking a lot. I have read over (can't hear the tape myself) all the interpretations of what you've all heard and from what I'm reading I gather that it wasn't just "tot speak". You all have good ears!



I am wondering if anything has even been confirmed that Jason was in a hotel? Has any of the media said anything about that? Many of you have made valid arguments that JY could have checked in a hotel, right across the border. It makes a lot of sense to me.



With all the similarities to the SP case, I only hope that JY doesn't dye his hair. (Sorry... my lame attempt at levity!) And to the posters who have compared this to Perry March (ugh! I hated him in tv interviews!) I wonder if JY could leave the country? (Or as in the SP case would they be watching him closely?)

Not meaning to be argumentative but I truthfully don't think we can assume what time JY left his home on Thursday evening. I say this because all we know is a friend or friends were there to watch GA which airs at 9 EST. This does not exclude the friends from being there for dinner or a few drinks or just a general chat well before the show. JMO, the departure time could be a much broader time frame than we think.

Giggled at the DYE his hair, but this case is almost a mirror reflection, eh? And sadly, the similarities help anchor my belief - not because someone else did the same thing - but because of the nature/psyche/arrogance of both men and just how far they will go in slapping back in our faces.

Are they still discussing the gay angle over there on CTV?

If so can someone ask J's "friends" who Mr R Schaad is. If they've known him for 'so long' they'd know what the connection is.
