Second thing - why was he checking voicemail instead of answering the darn thing when it rang - to me that is simple - if he didn't answer he didn't have to act and he didn't have to say anything to anyone. It screams at me that Meredith was indeed used to be the one to find Michelle and the baby - JY wanted MY found when he was well away from the scene. This is what the voicemail stuff is all about IMO. What makes this look even more suspicious is the guy is a salesman - why would his phone be turned off. ? It is also suspicious if the phone was on and he just didn't answer and the cell data shows him moving through transmission towers... JMO of course.

JY might have an answer for this. Maybe this is because of the meeting. If he was in a meeting, I'm sure everyone would turn off their cells and perhaps he was checking his voice mails at this time.

I was doing some snooping too Fran! hehe. According to one of the insiders it was a Coach purse that he was purchasing for her.

My immediate thought was - why would you buy a Coach purse for your wife when you're having an affair? Doesn't make sense to me.

Also....the 11pm phone call originates from a poster on a Blog from a JY supporter on Nov 13.

Lame a$$ coverup if you ask me the purse was for her not Michele Young because she is also the one that said he wanted help picking the right one. Um, so she's in Florida and he prints it out to do what, mail it? :waitasec:

ETA: also the anniversary or x-mas gift timeline don't add up very well and who does a husband buy a gift for no reason? Usually not the wife but a mistress.

Well...I guess technically she was in his camp. Maybe she still is? I also read that the s/sisters have had second thoughts about JY since learning of the affair. I wonder where that puts MM at this point. I wonder if she went on the Spa Retreat Weekend with the others? I would think not. Still

Would you really be surprised if there were more than one girl friend ? I wouldn't be and fully expect for others to be found. What good is a girl friend when she lives in Fl and you are in NC ? Not much...there will be more, this is not the end of the story IMO.

I think it would be highly risky for a defense team to fabricate such a story about Meredith but not beyond them leaking one if it exists. JMO

charlie, exactly; it's no secret, lol, that I branded this man as such from the beginning : multiple women, not necessarily all long-term affairs - but this guy is, IMO, a mirror image of ISP and his womanzing. On the first MY thread here there are a few posts stating women AND his gambling.

I do believe he was a "player" - in more ways than one. Probably where he met/picked up women. Who knows if this ever became "an issue" with him and MY?

In the meantime, I believe MM was behind the "CAMPAIGN", not necessarily the poster that first hit the 'Net, blogs and forums days after the story broke.

Then, when the truth began to emerge, they stopped. At first we thought LE (or lawyers) told them to back off ... but seems they spoke far too soon and slunk away. The cr@pol@ about "wonderful, guy, so in love with MY, goofy, kind, popular - no way he could have done this" and also the "if you know Jason, or ever walked in his shoes, you'll know how upset he is..."

It screamed BS then and still is a heap of hooey. Lol, I went on to a blog under another nic and had a one-on-one with ConcernedCitize a couple of times - CC reacted badly. But then, I knew that would be the case.

Maybe .... charlie, maybe MY did the purse search and JY knew it was there?

Maybe MY told him about it, possibly as a gift for the sorority reunion that was then coming up 2 weeks later - and JY cunningly jumped onto it as the 'perfect excuse' for Meredith to go to the house - because what else was he going to say to Meredith? Nothing. There was no reason unless he said he hadn't heard from MY ... but he HAD to remain "ignorant of anything".

After all, MY wouldn't be around to refute his word and say SHE had actually sourced the item? IMO JY usurped MY's gift idea .... as his own. Is this an impossible option to consider?

From the get-go, I've NEVER accepted that JY searched for a Coach Purse, takes the time to print it out while he was supposed to be away, when there is NO gift-reason in his immediate orbit. IMO: he used MY even after her death.

Just wanted to add - When reading over at CTV today, I think it was RPD who said it was odd that JY was scheduled to stay at his parents on the Saturday nite. That was the BIG Homecoming Game and JY was apparently a "HUGE Wolfpack fan".

If he was that big of a fan, you'd think he would have planned to high-tail it back to Raleigh after the meeting.
